I sighed as I laid in my bed wide awake.I hate it when I have noting to do, I thought. Kylia gave me the next few days off since the King Drakan and Prince Wystan where visiting our Kingdom soon.
I decided to get out of bed and go for one more walk in the Forest of Ice before the they arrived.
"E-excuse me, P-princess A-Azalea?" I heard a female voice said from outside my door.
I frowned, she sounded unfamiliar.
Still in my nightgown I walked to my door and opened it. Standing in front of me was a girl probably a year or two younger than me. She had black hair with a tint of blue in it and blue eyes and pale skin.
I had never seen her before.
"Um may I ask who you are?"
Her eyes widened, "Oh yes I'm sorry Princess Azalea!" She rambled nervously.
"My name is Vana, I'm a new servant here! Miss Kylia told me that I'm here to serve you Princess!"
A new servant here only to serve me? I thought. Mother, and Jasper have one but I never thought I would have one for myself.
Well if she's going to follow me around and obey all my orders then I think I'll make something out of it.
"Alright Vana come in my room" I ordered.
Her eyes widened and she did as she was told quickly then stood awaiting her next order patiently but I could see fear in her eyes.
I eyed her outfit. She had a simple dress that actually seemed a little dirty, "If you are going to be my servant than you can't walk around the Castle with me looking like that" I said and went to my giant closet.
I pulled out a simple purple dress that hung to the floor with long sleeves. Since it was always cold we warm heavy warm clothes.
"Alright Vana wear this" I handed it to her.
She looked at it then looked back at me, "P-princess Azalea I'm a little confuse, your giving me a servant girl one of your dresses?"
I immediately I took pity on her, This poor girl must have had to serve some ruthless people.
"Vana the servants who work here in Minallia aren't just servants to us, their our friends their part of our land. Now that your in our Castle your no different. So one will ever hurt you here."
I smiled and took her hand, "If your going to be my servant I want you to be my friend as well."
Her blue eyes were full of tears her shoulders began shaking as she started crying. I gave her a comforting hug, I've been told by people I have nurturing touch.
She cried for a few more minutes than wiped her eyes and gave me a cute smile, "Thank you Princess."

Finally I got Vana out of her old clothes and into the gown I gave her. Afterwards I gave her a tour of our Castle and how we work around Minallia.
"Azalea!"
I turned around and Aisha ran into me, "Azalea guess what?"
"What?" I asked kneeling.
She pulled out a letter, "Jasper might be getting a fiance!"
I froze, "What?!"
She skimmed over the letter, "A friend of Father's in Ireeia has asked if Jasper would be interested in marrying his younger daughter Calida."
I took the letter and read it for myself.
Dear King Soren Stonewild of Minallia,
I would like to thank you for sending us fresh food when my family was sick. However I would like to also discuss something that we once talked about. My youngest daughter Calida has finally turned nineteen years old. I finally have to right to asked if you would considered having your son Jasper marry my daughter?
From, SivanI stared at the letter in shock.
"Princess is something wrong?" Vana asked.
I sighed and handed the letter back to Aisha, "Go put that back where you found it." Then I turned to Vana, "Would you like to go for a walk outside of the Kingdom?"
She gasped, "In the Forest?"
I chuckled, "Yes. Would you like to come Aisha?" My sister nodded.
Together we all headed out to the forest. Aisha didn't get out often so this was quite a treat for her, and Vana couldn't stop talking about how pretty it was.
"Alright I suppose we should head back-"
I stopped.
Vana nudged me, "Is something wrong Princess?" She followed my gaze and also was silent when she laid her eyes on it.
There were a bunch of trees snapped in half and rocks torn out of their place, "I've never seen this before..." I said quietly.
Aisha then ran towards the damaged land and disappeared behind a huge boulder. "Aisha!" I yelled, when she didn't answer I ran after her with Vana on my heels.
There was a tunnel hidden among the wrecked trees and rocks. Slowly I walked through it holding Vana's hand until finally I found Aisha standing at the end of the tunnel.
"Aisha! You should know better than to run off like that! What if you were attacked by an animal and I wasn't there! Hey Aisha are you listening to me?!"
She continued to stare off and I heard Vana gasp, "P-Princess look" she pointed.
I turned around, and my mouth dropped open.
There were a bunch of snow willow trees hanging together and underneath them all was a giant creature.
It was long and extremely big. It's body was pure white and covered in scales that glisten in the sunlight. It had wings that almost covered it's entire body.
It was a Dragon.
I stared in shock for so long that I hadn't realized Aisha had clung to me, "What is that thing?" She whispered.
I was about to answer when suddenly the body shook and the Dragon opened one ice blue eye.
It was still alive.
