(Y/N) clutched the edge of the wooden rail with white knuckles. A queasy feeling filled her stomach and she groaned as she leaned over the edge of the ship to try and focus on the water below. The busy ship filled with fishermen from Sindria sounded distant to her, and she began to feel as if the summer wind was turning cold. Impossible.
The churning blue water below her seemed to magically appear closer to her, and she stepped backwards, confused. She looked to the crew, and they seemed closer to her as well. Her visual judgement was way out of wack. "What the?" (Y/N) mumbled to herself. "Hey!" she yelled to the men and women. They stopped what they were doing to stare at her. "Why is everyone so quiet?"
"We're not?"
"No, ma'am. I wouldn't say this is quiet."
"Are you okay, Miss (L/N)?"
Their voices suddenly grew in volume, and (Y/N) clawed at her ears, hissing. "Stop, stop, stop, stop!" she screamed, falling to her knees. The pounding of her heart turned deafening in her ears. The queasy feeling in her stomach increased, and she felt the blood coursing through her veins turn to a boiling hot temperature.
"(Y/N)?" a familiar voice called. Alibaba quickly made his way down from the ship's crow's nest. "What's wrong?" he demanded, kneeling by her side. "(Y/N), what's wrong?" He placed a hand on her forehead and quickly drew away. "Dammit," he whispered. "You're sick?"
"I am?" (Y/N) asked feeling distant. His handsome features weren't as clear before her, and she began to see several Alibaba faces float around her eyes. "Alibaba, what kind of magic are you using? How are you multiplying yourself?" she mumbled, reaching out to catch one of the faces. Her hands brushed his cheeks and she giggled deliriously. "But I was fine this morning. How can I be sick?"
Alibaba lowered his head and shook it, breathing out deeply. He gently reached out and picked (Y/N) from the wooden deck. The (H/C) girl began to twiddle with his golden hair that would shoot up from random places between her fingers. "Soft . . . you smell nice, Alibaba," (Y/N) cooed. "Like . . . the sea and something musky. Mmm." Alibaba's cheeks turned pink, and he stared at her.
"You have no clue what you're saying, do you?" he asked, grinning slightly. She raised her eyebrows in confusion, and she answered his question without even saying another word. "I'll get you back to Sindria. Maybe Yam can figure out what's wrong with you," he whispered quietly to her, unsure if her confused senses would make it sound like he was yelling. (Y/N) pouted and rested her head on his shoulder.
"I don't want to go back," she whimpered. "Ja'far's going to make me train for the rest of the day. I wasn't even supposed to come with you on this boat today. I just didn't want to sweat like a dog while training."
Alibaba chuckled quietly. "He's not going to make you train. You're sick, remember?"
"I don't even remember what I had for breakfast," she cried out. Alibaba hushed her quickly and patted the side of her head.
"Try to sleep. I'll take care of you until we get back," he said.
---
"She should be waking up soon. It's sweet that you were here the whole time. She's lucky to have someone as close to her as you are, Alibaba."
