----

A peculiar female student of Magnostadt Academy angrily stomped her way down the grand hallways, pushing unsuspecting students out of the way before they could react. Many students were sent flying across the floor yelping with surprise. (Y/N) (L/N) was very strong despite her first looks. Though many students have always seen her to be moody, no one had seen her this upset in months. What could be making her so angry?

Damn him. Damn him. Damn him! she thought to herself. "Where the hell are you?" she growled under her breath, clenching her teeth. Sphintus Carmen, I'm going to kill you.

"Oh! (Y/N)!" Aladdin waved from up farther the hall. He waved happily, excited to see his friend again. Aladdin had made friends with (Y/N) a few months before, and she began to grow a soft spot for the small, blue-haired boy. He ran to her and frowned, noticing how she was seething with fury. "What's wrong? Why do you look so angry?" he asked, tilting his head. "Did Sphintus take your diary again?"

"It's not a diary!" (Y/N) bellowed. Aladdin jumped about three feet in the air, and he held his hands up. "Sorry, sorry," she said. "No, it's not about my journal this time. But it is about Sphintus. Is he in your dorm room?"

"Mhmm," Aladdin nodded. "He's writing down a few things, but he said I wasn't allowed to read his writings. Do you need to talk to him right now?"

Tch, (Y/N) thought. Clueless kid. I'm going to strangle that white-haired loser when I get my hands on him. "Yes," (Y/N) said sweetly, masking her anger. "Let's go see him."

     "Okay!" Aladdin smiled brightly.

----

"Hey, Sphintus!" Aladdin said opening the door to his and Sphintus' room. "(Y/N)'s here. She said she needs to talk to you." Sphintus jumped up from his bed clutching his writing in his hands with a bright pink face.

"(Y-Y/N)?" Sphintus squeaked. He felt a lump rise in his throat as he saw her looming ominously in the doorway with a dark aura surrounding her despite the sweet smile on her lips. "W-what do you need?" He quickly tried shoving his papers under his bed. Without warning, (Y/N) lunged at him with her teeth bared. Sphintus screeched and held his arms up, but he felt nothing. He looked back up to see that Aladdin had somehow managed to hold her back.

"Let me go! I'm going to kill him! Aladdin!"

"Miss (Y/N), don't hurt Sphintus! What did he do to upset you so much?" Aladdin cried out, still holding her around the waist .

"What did he do?" (Y/N) glared. "What did he do?" She pried off the little boy and threw him onto Sphintus' bed right next to Sphintus himself who was cowering from the sinister girl standing in his room. "I'll tell you what he did. What he's been doing." She held up a slim finger and pointed it to the white haired young man. "What spell did you cast on me?" she demanded.

     "H-huh?"

"What spell did you cast on me, Sphintus? I've been feeling so weird lately, and the only thing that could explain it is you! Whenever I'm around you, I see you clutching your staff with your eyes closed and you're mumbling under your breath. Obviously you're bewitching me! My heart beats out of turn when I see you, I feel queasy when I see you, and I feel like my knees are going to give out on me when you're near me. What spell are you using? Undo it! I can't take these feelings anymore! I can't explain them!" As she spoke, (Y/N)'s cheeks turned red as she kept looking to Sphintus, and her heart sped up.

Aladdin looked between the two slowly. Sphintus obviously had no idea what she was talking about. He would never dare cast a spell on her of all people, and it was even scarier when he knew she would probably attack him if he couldn't explain. Aladdin blinked and then smiled slowly. He began laughing loudly, holding his stomach. The two looked incredulously at him. "What are you laughing at, Aladdin?" Sphintus demanded.

"I think it's funny," Aladdin giggled as he wiped a tear from his eye. "It's funny that (Y/N) is blaming what's happening on a spell."

"Are you saying it's not a spell?" she asked.

"No, silly!" Aladdin laughed again. "(Y/N), you love Sphintus and he loves you."

Sphintus and (Y/N)'s face went aflame and they both began spluttering. "L-love?" (Y/N) scoffed. "Aladdin, what are you talking about?"

"It's simple," the boy smiled. "You get nervous around Sphintus, and you don't realize that you are. Plus, I've seen what you say Sphintus has been doing. Whenever you are around, he gets really nervous and starts grabbing his staff as if it will protect him. And he mumbles under his breath to give himself confidence. He says things like...what is it? 'It's not that bad. Just talk to her, idiot.' Yeah! Something like that!" Aladdin smiled a close eyed smile.

Sphintus threw a hand over Aladdin's mouth and he hissed, "Shut up! Shut up! She's not supposed to know that!"

"But it's true!" Aladdin whined, pulling his hand away from his mouth so he wouldn't be silenced. "It's really amusing how blind you two are to each other's affection. I say you two should just start dating to make this all better." Aladdin jumped off of the bed and pushed (Y/N) into his spot. "Oh, and Sphintus talks about you in his sleep," Aladdin grinned.

"Aladdin!" Sphintus screamed, reaching out to grab the little boy. Aladdin laughed and ran from the room. Sphintus went to chase after him, but (Y/N) grabbed him by his robe and pulled him back. He let out a noise of surprise and fell back onto the bed next to her. Her face was still red and she folded her arms, not looking at him. "He's crazy," Sphintus mumbled, trying to make the situation less awkward. "If you want to forget this ever happened, that's fine. I'm sorry for--"

(Y/N) cut him off by crashing her lips into his. She had her eyes tightly closed, and his were wide open from surprise, but his eyelids quickly fluttered shut. He kissed back softly with his heart beating like that of a rabbit's heart.

"Okay, thinking about it now, a love spell makes no sense," (Y/N) said quietly as she broke away from the kiss. "And I like Aladdin's explanation of how you've been acting better than mine," she said. Sphintus smiled sheepishly and he rubbed the back of his neck.

"I was actually planning to tell you tomorrow about my feelings for you, but getting this out now is a lot better," he laughed lightly. His cheeks were still dusted red, and (Y/N) could feel his heartbeat through his chest. "I was writing you a letter, but I kept messing up. Thank you."

    "For what?" (Y/N) frowned.

"For making the first move. I didn't think I had the guts to do it. Plus, I was pretty sure you would punch me in the face," he shrugged, laughing louder. (Y/N) laughed and kissed his cheek.

     "No problem, Sphintus."
