The happy fairy flew happily,
Until her wings suddenly shattered.
No one turned her way,
Or thought to grab her.
So she fell to her doom,
And no one remembered,
The smile she had,
Shiny, like snowflakes in December.
But when she finally hit the ground,
All around the world echoed.
Teeth cracking, bones snapping,
All that wasn't heard was her heart,
As it stopped beating.
But everyone must be covering their ears,
Because a glance wasn't seen,
Not a look in her direction.
Like it was nothing to worry about.
She didn't matter.
All you heard was silence.
As the fairy's life drifted away.
