I lie here wondering,
What should I do?
All my thoughts clicked,
Or was I confused?
Locked in a box,
I couldn't escape,
Crying sad tears,
Breathing in hate.
Maybe I was strange,
Or abnormal as one would say,
Just because,
I am gay.
Lacking respect,
For the person I am.
Looking at girls,
The way boys do.
Do I tell my secret?
Or swallow it down?
For my thoughts,
Could cause me to drown.
