We were told when we were younger,
Being picked on was them showing their love.
We were taught love is being abused,
Beaten down and used.
Which I don't see is quite fair.

We were taught beauty is pain,
And being skinny and beautiful,
Like the people in magazines was the key to success.
So little boys and girls took pills,
Starved themselves and created scars.
To fix all their 'imperfections'.

We found out the world is full of hate.
Even if you try your best,
Even if you're the skinniest,
And the prettiest..
You'll be hated.
And that's that.
