Outside the Wall -Levi X Reader

Shot through the Heart

Bang

"Wake up brat. Erwin is calling a meeting," Levi says in a cold tone. The said girl looks up from the floor she landed on.

"I. Hate. You." She growls grimly. Rubbing her eyes she straightened her clothes. Levi pulls the blanket from her shivering body and quickly makes his bed. "Your an ass."

"I have an ass, yes, thanks for the update brat," he grabs her forearm and pulls her out of his room, and toward the dining room. Kicking open the doors they see Hange's, Erwins, and Levi's squad at the tables with Mike and his crew standing in the corner.

"Nice of you to join us. Get some food quickly, we are going to talk about our meeting with Pixsus." Erwin orders.

Getting away from the corpral she growls, "meeting? We should be arresting him! If he's the one we are looking for I dont want any possibility of him going free!" She runs over to her friends and sits between the ginger twins.

"We know, and he will be put on trial, but this isn't the woods, this needs to be on our terms, be paitent and things will go according to plan," he flips his notebook.

As he set out the plan, she zones out on the plan getting the main part, but replaced it with her own.

The Plan
Erwin, Hange, and Levi, along with their squads will surround the meeting area. Pixsus agreed to meet in a nice park near the kings castle. Mike a long with other cadets stay in HQ for reinforcements and to lessen the suspicion. (Y/n) and the rest of the outsiders will be with Erwin and Levi who will meet him. After confirming their suspicion with solid evidence, they take him to cort for his sentence.

"Any problems?"

All of the outsiders raise their hands.

"Good, let's go then, get your gear, gass, and horses." Erwin breaks the meeting.

As they break out, (Y/n) tells her friends about what they will do as soon as he confesses.

Their Plan
After Pixsus cofesses.
Kill him.

"Travis and I will carry small guns, either way, he will die. This is our revenge, not theirs," (Y/n) says as she gives the tall white haired man a handgun, as she lifts the corner of her shirt to reveal her own. After a while wait, everyone was ready and rode to the meeting spot. When everyone was in place, (Y/n) was on high alert, Levi who kept a hawk like eye on her, and Erwin who kept a silent atmosphere as he waited for the time to run.

"Commander Erwin, mind telling me what this meeting if for? And who are your friends?" A somewhat sarcastic voice said, turning they saw Pixsus.

"He knows who we are," Alex thought.

"This is the group of outsiders we found outside the wall, they have been a very important asset to killing titans. And... I need to ask a important question about the disappearance of many soldiers a long time ago," Erwin said, beating around the bush of questions.

"What about?"

"According to them, those many soldiers that disappeared had shown up at their village and killed their family, do you know anything about this?" He asks.

After a long silence, Pixsus sighs, and smiles, a wicked smile.

"Yes, and it was probably the most humanity has accomplished by killing that village of monsters!" He confesses, "and now I must thank you Erwin, for bringing the survivor's here, it was such a nuisance to find we didnt kill them all, but, now I can finish what I started."

Everyone was shocked, too shocked to move, as if time slowed down, he pulled a small hand gun out and pointed to (Y/n), she knew she was ready to kill him and get revenge, but hearing him call them monsters had made her stop in her tracks, her hand frozen on her holster gun.

Bang!!

He pulled the trigger as a gun shot rang, she could see the bullet firing towards her. She didnt have time to dodge.

But, at the last second,
She was pushed to the ground, replaced by her best friend.

Sam.

She couldn't even scream at him to move before the bullet penetrated his chest, and flying out his back.

Thump thump

Thump thump

"Sam!!!"

He fell to the ground with a thud.
Then another gun shot ran off, and Pixsus fell to the ground.

Not taking her eyes off her childhood friend, she scrambled to his side, there was a line of crimson blood coming out of the corner of his mouth, she quickly put pressure on his shot wound trying to stop the blood. He weakly looked up to her.

She could see in his eyes that he wasnt going to make it. She could hear mumbled calls and shouts. Others surrounded the two. But she didnt listen to what the voices said. She just kept eye contact with him, feeling helpless.

Warm liquid escaped from her eyes  in the form of tears. "S-Sam?" She felt a cold hand slowly wipe away the tears, but they kept flowing.

"I... I'm sorry... I can't p-protect you anymore," he stutters.

"No, no, please..." she chants. 'He can't,' she thought. She let pure anger pulse through her veins.

Her mother. Her father. Her neighbor's. Her house. Her village. And now, her best friend.

All taken away by this one person.

"You bastard!!!" She screamed as she took out her gun, stood and walked over to Pixsus, who was bleeding out as well. "Burn in hell, damn it!" She shot him once in the chest. Then twice. Then three times. She threw her gun as she heard the empty clicking of her weapon.

"(Y/n)..." Levi said as he pulled her wrist and wrapped his arms around her body.

She slowly wrapped her arms around his shoulders, returning the hug. She leans her forhead onto him and tightened her grip.

"It hurts Levi..."

"I know," he responded, two faces flashed before his eyes. Ones he wished he protected. The ones who stayed by his side and listened to his every word. And ones he wished were still by him now.

"I... I don't know what to do..."

"We'll figure it out..." he whispers in her ear. He hated to see her break down like this, and he hated how they couldn't save them all. And now that the person who killed their village was taken care of, they fulfilled their contract and it was time for them to go.

He looked at the other outsiders. They hugged each other, crying. Hange and Erwin stood on the sidelines watching, as if they were close to a bomb. Sam lays still, his shirt bloody, his skin starting to loose color.

More faces passed in Levi's mind. 'Why,' yhe corpral thought, 'why think of them now? From this brat who was always in my way?' Well, it was simple. He, Humanity's Strongest, hated how this effected others. He hated how he started to feel sympathy for others. Before, he would keep an iron wall on his emotions, not show how he cared about the cadets. But she made him feel like he needed to help, she taught him that it's ok to care, and she was showing him how vulnerable she could get. He wanted to protect them. And he wanted to protect her.
