Tsubaki:
The next few days were ok. I didn't get jealous or anything, becuase why would I anyways, Emi wasn't MY competition, becuase Kousei was already mine-well- kinda. The competition for Kousei was only in a day, and lets just say, he wasn't exactly all happy that day.
"I can't do this, I'm gonna lose, I'm done for!" Kousei screamed. I laughed a little.
"Chill, peabrain, it's gonna be amazing." I said, patting his head.
Emi walked in the music room at school.
"Oh- I didn't know YOU were gonna be here." Emi said, as she grunted.
"I could say the same for you." I said, giving her a glare. I guess Kousei noticed because he quickly chimed in,
"Oh would you two give it a break already?" he said. Emi rolled her eyes.
"Whatever. Let me know when you're done practicing with your girlfriend." she said, exiting the room.
Kousei got red faced, as he turned towards me.
"- what are we exactly..?" he asked.
"I don't know, you tell me." I replied. He shrugged, then did something I could have never guessed. He put his hand on my chin and leaned in. Me being new to relationships or kissing or affection in general, freaked out. I fell backwards, and off the piano seat and onto the floor.
Kousei started laughing a little. I blushed with embarrassment.
"IT'S NOT FUNNY." I muttered. He grabbed my hand and pulled me up into a kiss. A kiss I couldn't escape this time, and ended up just standing there while blushing with embarrassment and happiness.
Hashiwagi walked in.
"Woah there, chill you love birds." she said, as I quickly departed from the kiss.
"Um. I didn't mean to it was just an-"
"Oh shush Tsubaki, you know you liked it." Hashiwagi said. I blushed. "So how's he holding up?" she said.
"Not very well..." I replied.
"I'm standing right here, you know." Kousei chimed in. I giggled a little.
Kousei:
I was freaking out that day I remember, the day of my competition. It was a huge one, and if I didn't make it past finals, my music career would be over completely.
"Chill Kousei, it's gonna be just fine." Tsubaki said.
"No it's not, I'm gonna fail." I replied.
"Well if you keep saying it like that then it will happen." she said. I knew she was right.
"Kousei, playing on the piano, please come to the stage" a voice called on a loud speaker. My heart beat raced a million miles an hour at that point. I breathed really fast, and tried to calm down.
"Kousei." Tsubaki said, looking me straight in the eyes. She came up to me and wrapped her arms around my neck while going on her tippytoes and kissed me. It calmed me down of course. As she released the kiss, I smiled and walked onto the stage for my final performance.
