Kousei:
It was a stupid kiss- just a stupid kiss...

I didn't realize what I had just did, I had cheated, I did the wrong, the things I promised never to do. I didn't like Emi... at least- I didn't think I did. I was in love with Tsubaki, but yet I made a stupid mistake.
"I mean- technically she kissed me.." I thought. "Oh I'm such an idiot- I kissed her back, why did I do that? Why didn't I just push her away?" I thought. I paced my room. "Do I like Emi? No- no I could never, she's my competition, I could never like my competition."
I kept replaying the moment in my head, I liked it, I liked the kiss, but I didn't like her, I know I didn't- I couldn't.
I walked out of my house the next day, I was afraid to confront Tsubaki, but I knew I had to, I couldn't lie to her, it wouldn't be right.
I saw Tsubaki, she smiled and ran over to me.
"Hey boyfriend!" She said, punching me in the arm.
"Damn it- she's in such a good mood today..." I thought.
"Soooo, how's life?" She said. I shrugged. I didn't want to make physical eye contact with her. "Kousei- are you ok?" She asked.
I felt so guilty. Here Tsubaki was, the girl I loved, worried about me and asking me if I'm ok or not, and yet I kissed another girl.
"I'm fine-" I replied. Tsubaki looked at me worryingly.
"Oh that's right, your stupid competition thing. That must be why you're upset." She said. She started walking normally, and not speaking.
"Why don't we go out?" She blurted, 5 minutes later.
     "Go out...?"
"Yeah- go out... on a -"
     "Date-?"
"Yeah- one of those..." she replied. She was silent for a moment. "Do you... do you want to go on a date?" She asked.
     "Um..."
"Haha I was just kidding- it was a stupid idea anyways..." she said. She was silent after that. She seemed gloomy after that, and for the rest of the day actually.

Tsubaki:
"Kashiwagi!" I shouted across the field. Kashwagi turned around.
"What do you want now-" she said in an annoyed tone.
     "It's Kousei-" I said.
"Of course it's Kousei, when is it ever not?" She said. I shook my head.
     "He seemed- different.." I said.
"Heyyy guys." Watari said, walking into our conversation.
"Ugh- what do you want now water?" Kashiwagi grunted.
"I told you, my name is Watari! Get it right already." He complained.
"I know your name, peabrain, I just like it better when I get to torture you." Kashiwagi said.
"Would you two love birds just shut up?" I said.
"LOVE BIRDS?" They both shouted in shock.
"YOU CROSSED THE LINE NOW." Watari shouted. "I WILL HATE HER TILL THE DAY I DIE."
"I'm standing right here, doofus." Kashiwagi said, punching him in the chest. He grunted in pain. Kashiwagi smiled, she was contented that she had made someone suffer at least.
"Can I continue?" I asked.
"Sure." Kashiwagi replied.
"So basically-" I continued
"Hey guys- hey Tsubaki." Emi said. She looked at me and smirked.
"Hi Emi" Watari said, smiling widely, he still had a mythical dream that he and Emi were going to end up together.
"I just wanted to tell you to keep your boyfriend contained, he's not the prince you think he is." She said, before walking away.
What did she mean by that? I didn't know exactly- but I was going to find out.

Kousei:
"Hey Kousei!" Emi said, walking to up to me.
"Emi... hey-" I said.
"Do you miss my lips?" She asked. She smirked.
"No... maybe... ok I don't know! All I know is you kissed me - and- I liked it..." I said.
"Y-you liked it?" She asked.
"Maybe..." I replied.
"Maybe we should do it again sometime." She said, smiling.
"No- I ... I can't do that to Tsubaki..." I replied.
"Why not? You already did." She said. I was silent. It was true, but I couldn't do it again, it wouldn't be right, regardless if I liked it or not.
Emi walked away as she noticed Tsubaki marching our way.
"KOUSEI." She shouted, marching up to me. She was pissed, I could tell.
"What did Emi mean when she said I needed to keep you contained?!" She asked.
"E-Emi said that?" I asked.
"Yes.. I- it doesn't matter, you didn't answer my question." She said.
"I uh- Tsubaki... I have to tell you something." I said.
"What?"
"It- I- it was a kiss- it was a stupid kiss- it meant nothing."

I lied. I didn't know what it meant.

"What do you mean...?" She asked. A tear rolled down her eye. I knew in that moment I lost her, I lost her trust, everything.
"Me and Emi-" I said.
Tsubaki ran away crying.
"Tsubaki!" I shouted, she didn't stop running away.

Tsubaki:
I ran home, I hoped he wasn't running after me. He was the last person I wanted to see.
"That- that- that bitch! I hate him! I-I never want to see him again!" I shouted. I cried even more. How could he do this to me? What did I ever do to him to deserve this?

I didn't know much- but all I knew was that I hated Arima Kousei.
