Kousei:
I walked onto the stage. There were maybe at least 500 people staring at me. Three judges were sitting in the front row, this was it, this was my future. I sat down in front of the piano, and laid my hands on it. I could hear a voice in my head, it was her, it was my mom. It whispered "breathe, just breathe Kousei." It was a calm voice. I breathed in, and then out, and then it started. I felt my hands move, they flowed without me telling them to. I felt like I couldn't control it. I heard another voice, it was Kaori, I could recognize it anywhere.
"If you screw this up for me, I will kill you." She said. I saw her in the corner of the room, she was frowning. What was I doing wrong? My hands started to slip up, I started playing wrong notes. She disappeared into thin air.
"Where are you going?!? Don't leave me again!" I thought in my head.
I looked for Tsubaki, she looked upset, she looked scared. My heart pounded, as I started to feel myself falling, I couldn't hear the notes- that was something that had not happen for a long time, and I didn't know what to do. I looked around for a sign, something that could help me. Then I saw her. It was Kaori, she came back. She smiled, and I started to hear the notes again. I started to play sweetly and the notes flowed through my hands, I had control again. I played outstandingly and ended the song.
Everyone in the audience just stared. They didn't know what to do. I looked at Kaori, she grinned, and then disappeared. I smiled.
I walked off the stage and to Tsubaki.
"Kousei-" she said, as she tried to grab my arm, but I pulled back. She frowned as I walked past her. It was that point when I knew I wasn't going to make it past finals, and I was screwed.

Tsubaki:
Kousei ignored me for the next few days, I wasn't sure why, but it bothered me. He started talking to Emi more and leaving me out of the conversation. I felt invisible. I planned to confront him the next day.
"KOUSEI!" I shouted, when I saw him at school. He turned towards me, and then his eyes widened as I started charging towards him.
"Tsuba-" that's what he said before I pushed him to the ground.
"WHY THE HELL ARE YOU IGNORING ME?" I shouted into his face. He grinned. "THIS IS NOT FUNNY." I said.
"I don't know- I just needed my space -" he said.
"Well your space stops now." I said, as I hugged him on the ground. Emi started to walk towards us, then saw that we were literally on the ground and decided to not.
"Um ok- Tsubaki can I get up now?" He said.
"Nope." I said as I bear hugged him, he eventually gave up and hugged me back, and we kind of just laid there on the ground for a few minutes.
