Three days.
It's been three days since the last lightning raid on Pearl Harbor, and it's mark could still be seen by the occupants of the harbor.
The American Admiral; Samuel stood by his desk and looked out towards the port where many visitors came to see the Arizona. Not at her memorial, but to see her actual hull and humongous size.
Samuel took off his headgear before taking a seat on his chair prepared on the desk, he recalled back his conversation with Arizona which caused him to shudder.
"She plans on initiating a crusade against the Fleet of Fog? It sounds ridiculous... but the word 'Crusade' has never failed before." he muttered to himself and covered his face with his palm.
A knock came on the door and he allowed the doer to enter, once the 'person' entered he immediately rose up from his seat and stood in silence.
Arizona came in with a smile on her features, she halted before Samuel's desk and took a seat prepared across the American Admiral.
"Ah... Arizona. What brings you here?"
The mental model slowly scanned the room first before putting her attention to the lad.
"I wish to inform you that there will be another raid conducted by the Fleet of Fog."
"What..? When?"
"Next week. And for that... I'm suggesting that we should act now. I am ready to sally out and the I-417 agreed to help this counter-offensive."
Samuel had expected this, no matter how bad the situation was, Arizona would act and try to pave a way for the people of Pearl. He knew that her crusade would start as soon as she decided on it.
"Do you know how crazy this sounds..? You can't face the Fog alone with a mere submarine."
Arizona shook her head, "Not alone. It's for that reason I'm here. Look outside."
The male admiral was puzzled from the battleship's sentences, he hurried to the window and looked out.
Two ships bearing indigo markings have emerged from the very resting places of the Nevada and Oklahoma respectively, they too, donned the American flag.
"Dear god... Arizona, is this for real?" Samuel couldn't believe his eyes but it was only the beginning as he saw another ship rose up and the hull shuddered upon emerging.
It was the Utah with her cobalt-colored markings and sigils, showing it's odd contrast to the eyes present in the harbor, until the last two ships emerged once more. The West Virginia, and the California rose from their deep sleep and also joined in the small fleet of ships, their turquoise markings glowing vigorously as if they were eager to be in a battle.
Of all the ships, he finally saw a pattern and that they were all flying the American flag.
"It seems I will not fight this war alone. The I-417 is very grateful for the others' appearance, I believe she expects us to free Japan from the Fleet of Fog's grip."
Arizona nodded to herself, informing Izumi's wish if they were successful in pushing back the Fleet of Fog from the Pacific Theatre, even just a small bit of area.
Samuel closed his eyes and pivoted on a foot, turning back to face Arizona. He opened his eyes and exhaled.
"As the Commanding Officer of the US Navy situated in Pearl Harbor; I shall do everything in my power to help and offer anything you may need to carry out your crusade. You name it, Arizona. And it is also your call for any operations... I will not hold you back."
