It's friday morning and I still didn't tell my friends about my mom. I just don't know how to tell.
Emma touches my shoulder "Ash? Where are you with your mind? I asked you something!" I look at her and smile "yeah sorry, I slept 5 hours this night"
"Oh, why?"
"What was your question?" I ask her, ignoring her question.
"Did you finish your geography homework?"
"Uhm yeah I think so, do you want it?" I say as I reach for my bag.
"Yes please, I was so busy yesterday and I totally forgot to make it"
I give her my notebook and go back to the work I was doing. I start reading but I don't really read. I only see the letters and I'm really tired. "Ash? Ashley? What's wrong?" I look up and see Emma's worried face. "Huh?"
Emma's face looks a bit less worried "what's on your mind? What happened?" And then I can't take it anymore. As I start to tell there runs a tear down my cheek....

"I'm so sorry for you" Emma hugs me and looks me in the eyes while she holds my shoulders.
"You don't have to, but my mom will have to buy a cheaper house and I don't know if I can stay at my mom's home. I really hope that I won't have to live with my dad and Amanda..."

Emma hugs me again "everything will br okay, I promise. And you have us! You know that right?" She looks at Olivia and Abigail and they both nod and stand up to hug me.
"Thank you girls"
The bell rings and I stand up. It's time to go home... it's friday so I have to go to my dad's home. I hug my friends "I'm going" before I go Olivia asks me "you're going to your dad right?" I nod "are you going to Jersey's party tonight? I would like to go" I sigh "I don't know, I don't think he would be happy to see me at his party..."
A few seconds later Jersey walks by and Olivia yells "Jersey! Come here please!" Jersey walks to us and he has beautiful brown eyes and brown hair. Olivia says "Your party is tonight, isn't it?" Jersey nods and looks at me "are you coming?" He smiles. I smile back "I think so"
"Okay, I hope to see you tonight!" He walks away. He turns around and winks at me. I start blushing immediately.
"Do you like him?" Olivia whispers
"I do, but he has a girlfriend" I look at the ground. I don't know.

"I'll pick you up at nine okay?" I nod and hug her goodbye "see you tonight!"

"I'm home!" I walk in the living room where Amanda sits on the couch calling someone "I don't want you to come here! They don't want to see you anymore.... I know you are their fathet but you hurt them!" I leave the room and go to my sleeping room and start making homework.
10 minutes later someone knocks on my door "come in"
Amanda walks in my room "hey, how was school?"
"Horribe to be honest" I look at her "who were you calling?"
Amanda sighs "oh that was my ex, don't worry"
I nod slowly "okay"
She lays her hand on my shoulder "I'm sorry if you hate me, I don't have a daughter from 15 years old, you know... I really want to do it good. But I don't know how to do it right"
"I understand, it's okay" I look ate her. She is beautiful. Deep inside I'm sorry for ger, but I'm not going to tell anyone "tonight is a party, I want to go with Olivia, my best friend. Can I go?"
"I think it's okay, do you have a dress?"
"Oh no, I forgot! I'll ask Olivia if she has one for me"
Amanda looks at the clock "It's only 3.30 pm, what time are you going?"
"Olivia picks me up at 9"
Amanda looks at the clock again "come on! We're goijg to buy you a dress right now!"
A smile appears on her face and I smile for the first time in 10 days "okay!" I stand up and dress up
"Let's go!" I nod and we sit in her car.
When we arrive she takes me to a shop and I look at the dresses. I see a black and a grey one and Amanda tells me to try them.
I try on the grey one and look in the mirror. I walk to Amanda
"Wow! You look amazing in this!"
"I think I want it"
Amanda stands up and I turn around
"It's amazing! Go change yourself and I'll pay" I change it and I listen to the music that plays in the shop

I'm changed so I walk to Amanda again with the dress in my hand.
Amanda pays and we walk out the room when my phone rings

*message from: mom*

M: hey sweetie, I found a new house. Do you want to see it? I'm moving in 3 weeks. I want yo talk to you. Come to me tomorrow after school ok?

A: okay mom, I love you <3

It's 8.30 pm and the doorbell rings. Dad is home.

"Hey dad!"
"Wow, what a beautiful dress? Are you going out tonight?"
"Yes, Olivia picks me up in 30 minutes. I'm going to Jersey's party."
"Oh okay! Have fun"

I take the present that I bought earlier that day and put it in my bag. When the doorbell rings I'm finished and I open the door
"Hey Olivia! You brought Abi! Hey!"
I hug them both and we step in the taxi. When we arrive I give the present to Jersey and he thanks me. "The food and the drinks are over there and if you need something you can ask me! Have fun" he looks me in the eyes and smiles.
After about two hours dancing and eating I'm tired and I walk to the garden.
"Hey"
I turn around and see Jersey standing next to me
"Hey" I whisper
"What are you doing? Don't you like it?"
"I do, I'm just a bit tired"
Jersey sits down next to me and lays his arm around me
"Do you see the stars? Look! That looks like a dinosaur!" I laugh
I look at the stars "there! It looks like a fish!" We both laugh and I'm enoying his arm on my shoulder and him, next to me. He caresses my cheek and comes closer. His lips are searching for mine but then I remember that he has a girlfriend and I him away from me. He looks confused "what?"
"You have a girlfriend. Don't do that to her." I stand up and walk inside, I search for Olivia and Abigail. I find them sleeping together on the couch. I wake them up "hahah girls, shall we go home?" They both nod and we go home without saying goodbye.
