"Oh you wanna live there?"
I look down "it's next to your house so.."
"Okay, but you don't ever have to come back here" he answers.
"Can I please get my clothes" I say softly. Hoping he won't hurt me.
"Of course" he says super calm
I take all my clothes and the most important things that I wanted to bring.
An hour later I knock at Shawn's and Shawn opens the door "hey Ash"
"Hey Shawn, I'm finished" He smiles as he lets me in. "Where do you want to sleep? You can sleep with Aaliyah or with me. If you want I can clean up the room next to mine and you can sleep there."
"If you are okay with it I'd love to sleep with you" I blush
He smiles "I'd love to" He hugs me
We both smile when we hear Karen yell "we're having dinner!" We walk downstairs and have dinner

We finish dinner and Shawn asks "do you want to watch a film?" I nod "okay!" We walk to his room and sit on his bed.
We watch a film and when it's finished we prepare ourselves to go to bed.
When we are both in our bed, Shawn in his bed and me on a mattress next to Shawn's bed.
"Ashley?"
"Yes"
"I want to ask you something"
"Ask it"
He scratches the back of his neck. "Would you like to.. to go on a date... with me..."
I hug him "of course!" I waited for so long for this to happen.
I hug him again and he looks me deep in the eyes.
He kisses me on the forehead and I blush. "Goodnight"

Next morning as we wake up, Shawn is not in his bed. I look at my phone. Saturday  12.30 PM. I get up and walk downstairs. "Goodmorning"
Karen looks up "hey"
She points at the chair to make me sit down and brings me breakfast/lunch
"Thanks, where's Shawn?" I ask
"He's with Justin. At his home"
I nod "okay, is Aaliyah home?"
She nods "Aaliyah is in her room"
I finish breakfast and walk up to Aaliyah's room
I knock at the door and she asks friendly "who is it?"
"It's me, Ashley"
"Oh come in!"
I open the door and she looks up at me "hey Ash. You woke up so late!" She laughs.
"I know. I was so tired. And Shawn isn't even here... I really don't know what to do now."
"Ashley...?"
I look up at her "yes Aali?"
She looks down "I..I.. I need to tell you something"
I nod slowly "uhm yes?"
"Promise me you won't tell Shawn"
"Of course"
"He told me that you... that you.. liked this boy called... uhm... Nash?"
Nash?! The boy who asked me to come to his party... he thinks I like him?
"What?!"
Aaliyah looks down "he told me that you loved him"
"Yeah okay? What if I love him? Shawn and I are not together Aaliyah, you need to understand"
"You kissed at the hospital..." Aaliyah looks confused
"I know, I'm not in love with Nash though" I say, not sure if it's true.
"That kiss was only.. I don't know"
"Shawn said you two will go on a date"
"Yes, we are, well, I'm waiting for Shawn to bring me" I smile "we're older Aaliyah, you can't understand everything... not yet" she nods. I smile and hug her "you will understand when you are older" I say, but something in my heas tells me: do you really understand? Are you really "older?" Are you sure? And I know the answer... no I'm not sure at all.
Then she asks me one more thing "do you love Shawn?" Do I? Do I love Shawn? Definitely yes, but like friends? Or more? I'm not sure.
"What are you thinking about?" Aaliyah's voice wakes me up out of my thoughts "I don't know if I love Shawn. Well, I do, but more like... like friends. Or something"
Aaliyah nods, does she understand it? Wow.
"We will date soon"
"I like Shash" She smiles
I laugh
We hear the door close and Shawn's voice "I'm home!!"
I stand up "i'm going to see him, bye"
Aaliyah waves at me "bye Ash!!"

As I come downstairs I jump in Shawn's arms. "Hey!!"
Shawn gets an heartattack "oh my god Ash!"
He hugs me back and says he wants to talk to me. We go to his room and he asks me "we're going on a date, tonight, okay?" I smile "sure"
He smiles and sits next to me on the bed. We're in a comfortable silence.
Then I ask "what were you doing with Justin? Who is that?"
"Oh, that's a boy from school, he sings really good too. He's in my biology class. We just made some music and a cover to post on my youtube channel"
"That's cool!"
He laughs "yeah"
Oh no. I totally forgot that Nash' party was tonight.
"Uhm Shawn?"
"Yes?"
"I was invited to Nash' party and... it's tonight"
"If you really want to go there, I won't hold you back. But I thought we were going on a date"
"I'll go with you"
Shawn smiles "okay"

When it's 6 pm and we've had dinner, me and Shawn walk to the bus stop. We're going to the beach to watch the sun go down. Super romantic. But I'm really nervous though. It's my first date.

When we finally arrive at the beach it's 7 pm and we sit on a cliff and watch the sunset. He lays his arm around my shoulders and I feel happier than ever.

"did you tell Aaliyah that I like Nash?" I ask, breaking the silence

"do you?"

"well, I do like him, but not as in, love, just as friends." I look up at Shawn to see him, already staring at me.

He doesn't say anything. He just leans in to kiss me. I kiss him back and when we pull away Shawn looks me in the eyes and takes my hand in his hands "will you be my girl?"

I smile "yes Shawn... I'll be your girl"

he lifts me up and hugs me tight "I love you!"

I laugh and kiss him "I love you"

He brings me home and Aaliyah walks up to us "hey! how was the date?" Shawn laughs and smirks "good"

It's 12 AM and I'm really tired "Shawn? Can we please go sleep? I'm so tired" Shawn nods "of course" 10 minutes later we lay next to each other, my head on his chest. His arms around
