Rayne's pov

It was decided that Daryl and I would be training people for the bow. Rick would be training for guns along with Carl. Andrea would be training for knives.

I didn't really like Andrea, she always seems like she's hiding something, or maybe it's just because she's obnoxious. I didn't like Lori all that well either after the news she bombed on all of us. Everyone knows that when an apocalypse happens, you avoid all sexual activities. But apparently she thought that wouldn't apply to her so she screwed around with Rick and probably Shane. Maybe even Glenn too, but it's just a hunch.

Carl had wrapped an arm around me and pulled me close to him as Rick explained how training would work.

The back yard was fenced in so that's where we did training. First was the bow and arrow training, there were two lines, one for the cross bow and one for a vertical bow.

Everyone had to go through both lines, because Rick said. The last one to come through was Carl. I taught him to shoot and he did fine.

Next was guns, Rick went all into detail about the safety of guns, I know he's trying to help, but it was getting repetitive and drawn out. We finally went into our lines and I was the last in Rick's, so that I could be last for Carl. I was at Rick now and he wa showing me how to use a pistol, he was treating me like a baby, he was actually speaking to me like I was stupid,

"I'm not stupid, I know how the safety works." I said and then shot the target five times, I handed the gun back to Rick and walked over to the other line. Beth was in front of me and Carl was teaching about the shotgun. Beth was pretty good with the shotgun, I was impressed. Next was me and Carl actually treated me like I wasn't an idiot, Rick needed to take notes. Carl handed me the gun and wrapped his arms around me showing me what to do,

"Now aim, and pull the trigger, but watch for the kick." He said into my ear. I nodded my head and he backed away. I look down the barrel, took a breath and pulled the trigger and fell on my butt. I was shocked and everyone laughed.

"I think it may have too much of a kick for her." Rick laughed, any other time it would've been funny, but recently he was really getting on my nerves, so I was pretty mad.

"You think?" I asked getting back up, I handed the gun back to Carl and walked up to Rick,

"I'm tired of you treating me like a baby, you explain stuff to me like I'm five, and well, newsflash, I've done a lot for this group. I've fed this group, trained Beth for throwing knives before you enforced training, so please, just treat me with a little more respect." I said to Rick, everyone was quiet, probably from shock and Rick looked beyond mad. Lori was the first one who spoke up,

"We don't need some brat acting like she knows everything and that she thinks that she's superior, without Rick, you wouldn't be alive." I put my hand on my hip and retorted,

"I beg to differ. I can hunt, track and kill."

"Well, if you think you can survive on your own, be my guest, the door is open. Nobody is stopping you from leaving. No, actually, we're forcing you to leave, you are no longer part of this group." Rick said. I scoffed and stood up, nodded and went insidewhen I heard my mom say,

"If she goes I go."

"If Lyla goes, I go." Daryl said,

"If Daryl goes, I go man." T-Dog spoke up,

"If T-Dog goes, I go too" Andrea crossed her arms.

"If Andrea goes, I go." Beth quietly whispered,

"If Beth goes, I go." Hershel nodded to Rick,

"And if dad goes, I go." Maggie said,

"If Maggie goes, I do too." Glenn wrapped his arm around Maggie.
