Rayne's pov

I was walking for what seemed like hours, when in reality it was only like ten minutes. I was really close to the prison now, and I couldn't have been happier. Phillip was weird, almost like he planned this all too well. Hopefully I'll never have to see him again.

I finally reached the prison and Maggie opened the gates. I walked through and smiled, nobody will have to know about this, it will only cause unnecessary fighting. I walked into cell block C and put my things down beside my bed. I sat down and rubbed my eyes, this has been one heck of a day.

I stood back up and went outside without my weapons, I shouldn't need them. I saw Rick working on something and everyone working on something. I decided to go help Carl in whatever he's doing. I saw him over by Lori and they were talking and even though Lori doesn't like me, I will still try and get along with her, even though she did say some really disgusting things to me.

"Is there anything I can help out with?" I asked, trying not to let on anything bad happened.

"Where were you, you were gone for like three hours. What happened to you?" Carl asked looking me up and down.

"I was out in the woods and lost track of time, accidentally tripped and got caught on a branch." I said, content with my lie.

"Ok, well don't do it again, Lord knows what kind of search party would have been put in order to save you." Lori said and I just kept a straight face.

"Mom, really?" Carl asked, narrowing his eyes at her.

"Yes, really." She said and she waddled away. I didn't even roll my eyes this time. Carl looked over at me and I just shrugged, she doesn't even bother me anymore. But, she is getting pretty big, I wonder when she's due. Carl turned back around and started walking back towards Rick. I decided to follow and see what I could do.

"Hey, dad, what else could I do?" Carl asked and Rick said,

"You could go and help someone do something, I really have nothing else for you to do." He nodded and I just stood there, not knowing what to do.

"Is there something I could help you with?" Rick asked me and I said,

"No, just a little bored." I said and he nodded.

"Where did you go? you were gone for about three hours."

"I was out in the woods and I lost track of time." I said, saying the same thing I did to Lori. He nodded and said,

"I heard what Lori said to you, and don't worry about her, she's been in a bad mood for a while, I don't hate you. I actually kinda like you, you're good." He said, grabbing my shoulder at the end.

I nodded gratefully and walked back into the prison. I saw my mom over with Beth teaching her how to do something, I couldn't quite tell what they were doing. I walked into my cell and put all of my things down, deciding to go to sleep for the remainder of the day, I've been through a lot.

The next day when I woke up nobody was around. I grabbed my Vortex and arrows and looked around. Absolutely nobody was in here. I went outside and saw that they were all getting in their cars. I ran up and asked where they were going.

"There's someone who's screwing with the wrong people." Rick said with a dark tone and motioned for me to get in his car.

"Do you know who it is?"

"We call him the Governor, he's been on our case since Andrea betrayed us, he's got a big group, call it Woodbury, they took two of our people this morning and let a bunch of walkers inside our gate. I should've known we hadn't lost them." I nodded my head and started to get prepared for what we were going to do.

"So, what's the plan?" I asked Rick.

"We take them by surprise." Was all he said.

"So we're just gonna ambush them?" I asked and he nodded his head.

"Exactly, this has gone on for too long." Rick said focusing on the road.

We've been driving for about ten minutes before Rick stopped.

"We gotta leave the cars about half a mile away, so they don't see or hear us, and plus we can easily escape when need be." I nodded and got out of the car. I carried my Vortex in my hand and had my arrows on my back. I waited for Rick to give instructions.

"Alright, we know this goup has taken Glenn and Maggie, we need to locate where they are first, and then try and kill the Governor." Rick said and everyone nodded.

"What does the Governor look like?" I asked and Rick said.

"He has brown hair, and an eye patch, can't miss him." He said and my eyes widened. Phillip.

The person who tried to kidnap me to replace his daughter. The group turned and walked towards Woodbury. I followed and kept quiet, not wanting to make any noise that could raise suspicion. Rick held up his hand and we all stopped and crouched down. It was a guard. He walked by and we kept walking stealthily forward.

I saw the fences and smelled the food, it smelled great. We found a hole in the fence and got through. Rick gave us the clear to spread out and look for Glenn and Maggie. I went to the right and stopped immediately.

There was Andrea. She was giving our food to this group, the Governor's. I would kill her later I decided, and went on my assigned mission. I saw two pole barns and creeped up on them, careful not to get caught. I put my ear up against the metal and heard muffled screams. They had to be in there. I had to go tell the others. I got up and snuck back over to where I was originally and saw Rick.

"I know where they are." I said and he followed I walked up to the pole barns again and Rick nodded, trying to find a way in. This was getting real serious, real fast.
