Every time I think about us
you burrow into my skull
digging up all the old familiar songs
that played to the tune of our daily conflicts
Every scar you left on me
is a reverberating scream from the past
cuz you're the poisoned needle
to the record player in my head
Thank you for the memories
but it's time for the disc to stop spinning
one last seranade
before I let the music to fade to silence
