Derek pulled up outside of the McCall house, turning to face Elara. She gave a small smile before opening her car door, her dad got out and followed her to the front door. Elara held the small bouquet of flowers in her hand as her dad rang the doorbell. Kira opened the door, smiling widely before hugging Derek. She looked exactly as she did.

"Hey, it's nice to see you." Derek said patting Kira on the back ever so slightly. She looked to Elara, introducing herself before inviting them in. Scott was sat on the sofa while a little girl, in a baby blue onesie sat on his lap. Derek smiled remembering when his little girl was little.

"Derek, Elara, this is Naomi, our daughter, she's three." Kira smiled, the little girl smiled, climbing down from her dad's lap and plodding her way to Elara. Elara bent down smiling at the small girl.

"Hi Naomi, I'm Elara but you can call me El." She grinned, Naomi smiled lightly wrapping her arm around the bigger girl. Elara had always wanted a little sibling but understood how for just her dad, that wasn't possible.

"Boys! Get down here!" Scott called before a groan and loud banging from a room sounded.

"Someone obviously isn't happy." Derek chuckled, Scott rolled his eyes before turning to the stairs where a young boy came down the stairs.

"This is Daniel." Daniel was a 10-year-old. Derek could sense the unpredictability of the child and decided to pull Scott aside. Elara spent her time chatting with Naomi and the young boy.

"Um, Scott. Elara doesn't actually know about anything supernatural." Derek began, watching his daughter and all the other supernatural beings that lived in this house.

"Yeah, my mum mentioned and don't worry, I've told the kids. I don't know about Naomi, she isn't bad but sometimes she has her teeth or claws out but when you yell, they go away."

"Are they all wolves?" Derek questioned, looking at Daniel and Elara playing with Naomi.

"No, Daniel is a kitsune." Scott explained, Derek raised his eyebrow before smiling at the boy who seemed happy around his sister and Derek's little girl.

"Didn't you say you had three children?" Derek asked, making sure he hadn't missed an introduction. Just as Scott opened his mouth, a boy jumped from the top of the stairs landing in front of Derek.

"That would be me." The boy was tall with dark black hair and Scott's brown eyes, he had a smirk of near perfect white teeth pressed against his slightly tanned skin. Scott grabbed his shoulder growling quietly.

"Remember what I said. Be human." The boy laughed before walking into the living room.

"That's Adam." Derek felt a growl erupt in his throat as he knew that boy would be the one Elara would be with on the first day. Scott touched Derek's shoulders lightly.

"He's alright, just a bit cocky." Scott muttered but Derek couldn't help but notice the bias laced in Scott's voice. When the two fathers walked back in, the first thing they saw were the two teenagers finally noticing the other was there. Both dads heard their child's heartbeat speed up a little and they lunged at their offspring. Adam shook his dads hand from his shoulder before pushing his own hand forward.

"Hi," Adam grinned, Elara looked down at his hand and then back up at his brown eyes. "I'm Adam." Elara met his hand, blushing at the contact between the two. "Elara." She smiled as they shook before pulling away from each other. Derek's mouth fell agape as he looked between the two. He grabbed his daughter, almost possessively, pulling her to his side.

"Hello Adam, I'm Derek." Derek forced a smile and Kira picked up on the tension, turning to Scott, looking slightly worried. Derek let his eyes flash blue, showing that he had killed before watching Adam's face drop. Derek smirked before turning Elara to face him.
