LAST CHAPTER

Thank you, enjoy

Goodbye xx

When Stiles woke up, he was relieved to be in his room. He got up, not really bothering to turn on the light, it was about 6, he guessed as it wasn't light yet. He made his way down the stairs. Wait, he's in his dad's house? He heard noise from the kitchen and smiled in relief. Derek.

"Derek?" Stiles called once he landed on the bottom step, when he turned his saw his dad looking oddly at him. Wearing the sheriff's uniform.

"Who's Derek?" Noah asked confused, munching on his toast.

"Dad, why are you wearing that?"

"I'm the sheriff...who's Derek?" He asked again, picking up his coffee while watching his son.

"Dad, Derek's my husband, you know that?" Sheriff spat out his coffee all over the floor, laughing confusedly.

"Stiles, you're 17. You do not have a husband. And if you were married, wouldn't you hope it would be Lydia, how long have you been obsessed with that girl? 9 years?" Sheriff chuckled, Stiles froze, looking at his hands and seeing no ring. He had no older hands, just his 17 year old ones.

"10." Stiles corrected slowly. "Dad, what's the date?" Stiles asked, sitting in the chair opposite his dad.

"September the 4th, first day of school." Sheriff cheered jokingly.

"What year?" Stiles asked, gripping the ends of his hair nervously.

"2011." Sheriff seemed really confused at his son's questions. Stiles sat back in his chair, taking a deep breath.

"Oh my gosh." He gasped, under his breathe.

"Dad, do you know anyone called Derek Hale?" Stiles asked, the sheriff thought and shook his head.

"What about the Hale fire? The house in the forest?" Stiles knew his dad would remember his.

"Stiles, go back to bed. We haven't had any house in the forest, it's a nature reserve, remember and no Hale fire. Are you feeling okay?" The sheriff reached over to touch his head, feeling the temperature.

"I'm fine dad." Stiles sighed, going upstairs to shower before school. Nothing was making sense. Maybe Stiles just imagined the whole fire thing. Although everything felt so real. Once he was dressed he made his way to school, but before he got there he needed to see for himself.

He spent ages searching the woods and when he finally recognised the area, he made his way to Derek's house. That was until there was no house there. Just one grave stone. Stiles walked over to it, it was dirty and looked old. He rubbed it clean and almost stopped breathing at what he saw.

Scott McCall-Burned in house fire. 1756-1772, beloved son.

"Derek?" Stiles screamed, looking around for some evidence that he didn't just make up everyone.

"Scott?"

"Malia?"

"Eric! Elara?"

"Anyone?"

"DEREK!" Derek shot awake at the sound of his name, seeing his supposedly dead mate, alive and screaming. Derek rushed over, cradling him in his arms, trying to wake him up.

"Stiles! It's okay, I'm here." Stiles gasped, realising his husband was in fact a real person. He looked at his chest, seeing no wounds no nothing.

"What's that thumping?" Stiles cried, clasping his hands over his ears. Derek took his husband's hand, placing it on his chest.

"That's my heart."

Stiles was confused how and why could he hear Derek's heart. And then he realised.

"I'm a werewolf." Stiles' mouth fell agape.

"Yeah. It wasn't me though. Do you remember what happened?" Derek asked, Stiles nodded, remembering Jude killing him.

"I killed Jude. And you are now a part of my pack now. You're my beta." Derek smirked, Stiles smiled, looking up at Derek. Derek pulled him into a kiss before helping him off the hospital bed and outside. Melissa was scared to see him alive and werewolf but she sorted everything out.

"Show me." Elara exclaimed as Stiles walked through the door of their house, she'd come back after Derek told her, he was dead but he'd soon informed her he wasn't.

"I don't know how to control it." Derek bent down running his lips along Stiles' ear, knowing that would bring the wolf out. Elara stifled a laugh as Stiles looked down before returning to look at her.

"They're beautiful." She smiled, pulling him into a hug.

"What can I smell?" Stiles asked, looking around at everyone.

"That's probably Adam, on Elara, as her dad, his scent is usually not pleasant for us. Something to do with new wolfs." Derek informed his husband.

"I should probably get going but I wish you the best dad." Stiles smiled, she'd been calling him dad more and more and it made him feel happy.

"Thank you."

When she left, Stiles immediately went to see Eric who was napping. He sat by his cot listening to the small beating.

"Wow, it's a beautiful as I thought it would be." Stiles mumbled, letting his hand reach to touch the small baby. Derek smiled, walking closer to his husband and crouching beside him.

"I love you." Stiles whispered, placing his head on Derek's chest.

"I love you too."

*****

Years and years passed, no drama, no fighting just normal human lives for not so normal or human people.

"Michael!" Elara yelled, picking up the toddler who was running across the road.

"El, babe, we're gonna be late." Adam groaned.

"Well I'm sure Eric will understand." It was Eric's graduation and they were going to be late if Michael didn't start cooperating. They finally started to make their way, Michael falling asleep in the back seat, giving the parents a moments of peace.

When they arrived both dads grabbed the two in a bone crushing hug.

"Ow, dad, seriously stop." Elara pulled away, smiling at her dads who grinned happily to see her.

"Mikey!" Stiles called excitedly, he picked up the toddler also hugging him as tight as possible.

"Let's go, you're just on time." Derek smiled, tugging his family to their seats and they watched their son, brother, brother in law and uncle. Eric waved at his family, who waved back enthusiastically, they watched as his girlfriend, who weirdly enough resembled Malia, took a hold of his hand and kissed his cheek. Derek felt himself growl, making everyone look at him.

"I can't help it okay?" He said ashamed, he was still a little unsure of Adam.

After, Eric and his girlfriend, Jaya, walked over, talking to each other.

"So what now kiddo?" Derek asked, pulling his son into a tight hug.

"Ugh, dad get off." Eric readjusted his dark hair to the way it was styled as Jaya smiled.

"Let's get food, I'm starving." Elara groaned, Adam agreed and they all headed out to a meal. Elara was teasing her younger brother about stories from when he was younger, making Jaya giggle at them, meaning Eric was even more embarrassed.

"So Jaya," Derek began. Eric groaned, clamping his hands over his face as he knew the interrogation will begin. "What are you intentions with my son?"
