Elara unlinked Adam's hand from hers, letting her mouth drop open.

"Uh, Michael this isn't what it looks like. I swear. I've hurt my hand." Michael felt nervous as Adam didn't flinch. He couldn't act like he just caught them cheating because between the two boys was a dilemma. Michael nodded slowly, leaving the flowers on the bedside table, muttering something quietly before leaving.

"I should go see if he's okay." Elara went to get up but Adam held her back.

"Let me do it. He might be angry." Adam left, following after the smaller wolf. When he caught his shoulder, Michael pushed him off, pressing him into a wall beside a photo frame of Claudia, Stiles and Noah from a long time again, making it shake.

"Just because I kissed you, doesn't mean you can make your move. We're still together and she chose me remember?" Michael snarled, Adam rolled his eyes, pushing Michael off him.

"I wasn't. But how dare you even think about accusing her for something you've already committed." Adam replied, Michael shrunk away the feeling of guilt powering over him.

"I'm sorry." Michael sighed, running his hand through his hair. Adam went to put his hand on Michael's shoulder but decided not to. "I need to tell her, don't I?" Adam nodded, giving him a small smile.

"I'll give you some peace." Adam offered, saying goodbye to Elara and leaving the two alone. Michael made his way up to the room, seeing Elara still in her bed. Michael sat down beside her, taking her good hand in his.

"I think we need to talk." He announced, Elara braced herself, she knew what this was. What hit her worse was she didn't really care? Maybe she had too much drama in her life for her to start worrying about a boy losing interest.

"I, uh, oh god, I feel so bad and I-" Elara cut him off, with her hand on his cheek as she smiled.

"We've drifted and you want to break up?" Elara suggested, Michael smiled apologetically and nodded slowly. Elara just gave a half-hearted smile, pressing a kiss to his cheek.

"That's fine, I get it. I think we work better as friends anyway. That is okay?" She questioned, afraid she might lose her only friend.

"Yes of course." Michael decided it was best not to tell Elara about kissing Adam, or in fact finding guys attractive because he didn't want to upset her anymore. He might talk about it later in life but he wasn't sure. They embraced quickly and then decided to go watch a film.

Adam, on the other hand was making his way home when Beth arrived with her dads, Corey and Mason.

"Ugh." He heard Beth spit, Corey tucked her under his arm as Mason made his way over.

"I don't want you anywhere near her again? We may be a pack but I will not hesitate to kick your ass." Mason said, holding the werewolf's arm, his claws came out and Mason removed his hand as Corey stepped closely, wanting to protect his husband.

"Do you understand?" Mason asked, Adam nodded retracting his nails. Mason smiled, readjusting Adam's shirt.

"Good." Adam watched as the three walked away, he'd encountered both Mason and Corey before. He knew they were unharmful and could hardly threaten anyone but Beth was their daughter, he understood the father's need to protect his little girl. Adam felt lost as he wondered home. He'd never felt so hurt before. Maybe it was Beth, maybe he still liked her. Or maybe it was Elara. Maybe he liked her. He didn't know. He shook his head, strolling into the woods, running his hand through his hair stressfully. He eventually took a seat on a tree stump, falling back and letting his body hang over the other side. In the distance he could hear a group of people, possibly with a bonfire, he heard laughing and the sloshing of alcohol. It was times like this that he wished alcohol worked on werewolves. He wanted nothing more than to completely lose his mind and forget everything, but he couldn't. Adam heard a twig snap and he sprung to his feet, snarling aggressively, his dad came into view, smiling lightly with his hands in his pocket.
