The next day, Adam returned to school, even though Michael and Elara weren't there, he still felt lonely. Before, everyone would be sat on his table. Now, he sat the furthest away from everyone. He only had two lessons and the rest of his periods were free, so he took this to his advantage and went back home. He stayed quiet in the house, listening to Kira on the phone to her parents, who were talking about Christmas even though it was October.

Naomi wondered in a little while after Adam got home.

"Whatcha doing?" She questioned, swinging on her two feet.

"Nothing." Adam said, sitting up from his place of hanging off the bed. "What about you?" He asked, watching his sister from upside down. She waddled over, climbing onto the bed, with a little help from her biggest brother.

"Mum said you were sad and to leave you alone, but I didn't wanna." Adam smiled at his little sister, kissing her head lightly.

"I'm glad you didn't, Pixie. I'm okay, just a little hurt." Adam reassured her, this made Naomi jump to her feet.

"I'll do that thing Daddy does!" She exclaimed, grabbing Adam's hand in hers imitating the thing Scott does to take away pain. Adam laughed, feeling his eyes water a little. "Pixie, you can't do that yet and besides, I don't think it'll work for this kind of pain." Naomi sat down with a huff, making Adam smiled once again.

"Wanna play hide and seek?" Adam asked, watching the pouty girl's face light up, she hopped off the bed calling.
"You count. I'll hide."

After three games of Adam sniffing out his sister and then letting her win the next four, Kira decided to take Naomi out for a walk.

"Do you want to join us?" Kira questioned, as she zipped up Naomi's puffy blue coat. Adam considered it but decided against it finally.

"No thanks, mum. I'll go study or something." Adam muttered flatly.

"Okay, we'll be back soon, try not to burn the house down." Kira joked before walking out of the door.

"Says the Kitsune!" Adam joked back, getting a playful warning glare from his mother. He closed the door and made his way upstairs, that was before the bell rung. Adam sighed, turning around and walking back down the stairs.

"I'll be there now." He called. When he finally reached the bottom, he scrunched up his nose, knowing exactly who was outside. He swung the door open and narrowed his eyes at Michael.

"What do you want?" He asked harshly, when Michael's face looked worried, Adam eased up.

"Is it Elara?" Adam quickly asked, afraid something may have happened.

"Uh, no. I kind of just want to talk to you." Michael explained awkwardly. Normally, Adam would have rolled his eyes and slammed the door, refusing to let any other pack member into their house but he could smell the anxiety Michael held.

"Come on in, my rooms the one to the right." Adam instructed, Michael thanked him and began up the stairs, Adam shortly following. When in the room, Adam took a place on the bed, inviting Michael to sit on his desk chair.

"So, what's up?" Adam questioned curiously. He didn't like Michael at the best of times.

"Well, I've been confused recently, about a lot of personal things and I thought maybe if I came and said sorry, it'd help clear my head." Michael began, he held out his hand. "So, here I am, apologising to you Adam. I'm sorry for the fights in the past and everything that has resurfaced recently." Michael muttered, Adam put his hand on his smiling.

"Me too. Especially for fucking up your car. I feel really bad." Adam laughed awkwardly.

"It's alright. At least you paid for it." They both chuckled a little between each other but before Adam removed his hand. Michael pulled him closer before wrapping his arms around Adam's face. From there, Michael attached his lips to Adam's. This made Adam gasp, Michael taking this as a good thing and slipping his tongue in. After Adam pulled himself back to reality that another guys tongue was in his mouth, he pushed Michael off him so fast, Michael flew across the room, smashing a load of Adam's shelves.
