Bear in mind. I am not a gun expert. Nothing I've written is going to be accurate, just pretend it says the right things.

After school, Stiles was waiting outside in his car. He smiled at Elara who walked over to the car, getting in.

"I've been thinking and I want to teach you how to shoot." Stiles said as he saw Adam walking out, he waved him over and he got in the back.

"Like a gun?" Elara asked nervously, she was a really clumsy person and she didn't trust herself with something lethal.

"Yeah. Adam's coming to help you, so don't worry, he'll probably teach you better than me." Stiles grinned as Adam got in the back.

"Where are we going?" Elara asked curiously.

"Well, I think the woods will be the best to get you started. Then we'll take you to the shooting range and then back out here." Stiles said as he began to drive to the opening in the woods. El bit her nails as she thought about what she was going to do.

"Is this because of my dad?" Elara questioned, sighing in her seat when Stiles nodded.

"We need you to be protected if we have to leave, or if you're coming with us." Stiles explained, Elara just nodded. She understood, whether she'd be here alone or helping to fight for her dad, she knew she'd need to be more protected than the few punches her dad taught her to throw.

They pulled up at the clearing, Stiles instructing everyone to get out, they did as told and he went to the boot pulling out a bag. They walked further into the woods until Stiles was happy they wouldn't shoot anyone or anything.

"Okay, first I need to teach you how to hold it. Many people get this wrong, once you hold a gun. Show me how you'd hold this." Stiles tossed her a fake replica of a small pistol. She caught it, inspecting the shape before wrapping her hand around the handle, her finger over the trigger and pointing it towards a tree.

"Hey, that's pretty neat." Adam smiled, as he inspected it closely. He readjusted her thumb, took a step back and then nodded.

"She's got this in the bag, Sheriff." Adam laughed, Stiles nodded, inspecting it himself and approving. Stiles passed her two other weapons. Her grip was near perfect with each one.

"Now with some of these, there is a small backlash, so you must make sure your face isn't too close, otherwise you'll injure yourself, and that won't be good." Stiles explained, moving El's head softly. She took in everything, trying to remember it as much as possible.

"Now when reloading, you need to know when to and how to." Stiles told her. Using fake bullets, he loaded the pistol in front of Elara. He took them out before giving them to El.

"You try." Adam told her what to do as she tried and succeeded at loading it. Adam unloaded it for her again before telling her that he was going to time her. She quickly tried to load it but dropped it a lot.

"I could have shot you four times, in that time. You need to be quicker." Adam told her, El nodded telling him to go again. This time she was quicker and managed to only drop one. Adam praised her before grabbing it.

"Grab them collectively, lining them up in your hand, like this." He laid them out in the palm of her hand, placing his hand around her.

"Now move you hand so they slide in easier." Stiles admired the closeness between the two and smiled and Adam guided her hand. Adam watched intently as Elara managed to do it quick enough.

"Good." Adam smiled, walking away from her.

"That's good for today. Tomorrow, we'll teach you to reload the others." Stiles told Elara, who nodded, passing the fake gun and bullets back. Stiles drove Elara back home and she got out of the car and headed to the door.
