Kcalb's Cake

It was another day for Etihw as she sat with her beloved, Kcalb who was eating cake at the table. Although the male was a silent-type Devil he sure had a sweet tooth. Etihw had just finished eating her sweets that the headangel, Wodahs, had prepared for the two. The God was sure if he was human he'd be a Master chef and maybe even have his own television show called 'Wodahs' Hell Kitchen!'

Although she had finished her snack she did not feel at all full yet. She wanted to tell him but the sight of Kcalb's dish was well inviting.

She had to have.

She needed it.

"Eti.." Kcalb called slowly as he lowered his fork with a piece of stawberry cake still attached to it. "Why are you starring at me like that?" he asked, suspiciously.

"W-what are you talking about?" She asked with a slight smile. She couldn't have him knowing what her devious plan was. Not yet anyway.

"Hm." he eyed her before going back to tasting the piece of cake.

She looked at him him, squinting her eyes between the cake and him. She couldn't just grab it. The sight of Kcalb chewing the baked cake and silently enjoying it had her thinking he was too distracted in the taste. So she waited...waited...and snatched the last chunk piece and scarfed it down her mouth, chewing it before turning away looking out the window like nothing had happened.

Kcalb's POV~

I was enjoying the taste of the strawberry cake in my mouth as I chewed with closed eyes. When my fork went down for another piece.

Clink.

I opened my eyes looking down at my plate to see nothing but small crumbs on it. Strange it usually takes a couple of bites for me to actually finish. I looked up as I set my fork down beside it and imI couldn't help but feel suspicious of Etihw again.

She was looking out the window, her chin resting onto her palm. This was normal sometimes where she actually didn't talk much. But something was off. I inspected her from across the table before noticing how her cheeks were puffy and how she seemed to be chewing, trying to hide it.

"Etihw!" I slammed my hands onto the table and she jumped in her seat before looking at me with a sheepish grin. "Did you eat my cake?" I asked slowly.

"I don't know what your talking about." she said with fake bewilderment.

"Your lying!" I pointed at her, glaring. "You have crumbs on your face!" She blinked and laughed sheepishly before wiping it off with her forearm.

"Okay. So I was hungry and ate your cake big deal."

Wodahs stood just outside of Etihw' and Kcalb's dinner room as usual. If they needed something he'd be there to assist both of them no matter the task. The Headangel couldn't help but over hear the two bicker and sighed, opening the door before watching Kcalb running out of the room wiping his eyes shouting out loud, "Stupid Etihw!!"

Blinking the angel looked inside the room to see Etihw wide eyed and still seated. "You touched his cake didn't you?" he asked.

"...Yup."

"Fix him." he said walking out of the room. She rushed out to fallow him.

"Wait!" he stopped and turned to her. "I have an idea but I need your help."

"What is it?"

The Devil King sat down in the field of flowers with crossed legs and hands resting on his knees. He was straight up pissed. Etihw should know his feelings and understand just how much cake meant to him, just like he understood hers.

"Kcalb.." He heard behind him but he didn't bother to look nor answer. "Kcalb!!" she whined hugging him from behind causing a blush to appear on his pale skin. Nonetheless, he crossed his arms and looked away from her.

No, he would not let this go easily.

She moved off him and walked, crouching down to face him.

"I'm sorry." She began causing him to look at her. She never really ever apologized so easily either. So far she had his attention. "I was hungry and ate your cake to satisfy myself. I should've..asked Wodahs for something more instead. So, will you forgive me, Kcalb?" She asked with pleading eyes. His eyes looked down at what she held out to him. A plate of strawberry cake. He sighed and nodded before taking it.

She giggled and sat down beside him as he began to eat his cake.

"Next time I promise not to lay a hand on your cake." she vowed with a smile.

"Eti.." Kcalb said making her look over to him. "If you ever want some of my cake just ask." She blinked confused making him turn away with a blush.

"I'm fine with letting you have some of my cake.."

"Awww~!!" She hugged him kissing his cheek causing him to blush a thousand times more than the strawberry he had been chewing on. "I love you too!" It was then he couldn't help but lean into her embrace and nuzzle her neck, gently.

Yes, Kcalb wouldn't mind sharing his cake with Etihw. They shared a world together so what was a little cake gonna do to change that?
