"Dad, I demand to bring back school."
The first thing I did was to go to his study as soon as I woke up. This can't wait!

'Iyon lang ba talaga? O may iba kang pinaplano?'
Nakaupo si Daddy Caleb sa swivel chair niya habang ang mga kamay ay nagpapahinga sa ibabaw ng table na parang nagdadasal.
I feel like a businesswoman here, having a deal with some investor which is my Dad.
"Why?" He asked as his gaze is still locked into mine. He didn't bother on shifting it.

"As you can see, nag-aalala ako sa mga estudyante ng Athens Academy. Sayang ang ibinabayad ng parents nila kung hindi natin maibibigay ang tamang service that their sons and daughters pretty much deserve." Sagot ko naman.
His forehead scrunched. I assumed, he's wondering what am I up to.

Bigla siyang tumayo at tumalikod sa akin para maharap ang bintana kung saan natatanaw ko ang sinag ng araw.

"Daddy, I know that. As far as I know, the ugly creatures are not so attentive at this time. Ni wala na akong naririnig na pag-atake. Might as well, convince the council to bring back school."
Yes, they're ugly. But this Vampire Princess is gorgeous even if I'm wearing those cold, sinful fangs.

My lips twitched. I think it plastered a sweet devilish smile. Finally!
Agad akong umalis sa pagkakasandal ko sa double doors. Tumakbo ako para lumapit kay Daddy Caleb at mayakap siya.
