The sound of someone's back hitting the wooden door echoes through the empty hotel hallway.

"I can't do it." Lauren sounds like she's on the verge of tears as she presses herself into Lucy, mouth peppering the girl's neck with kisses. "I can't help myself, Luce."

Lucy flips their positions so she can open the door, Lauren's lips never leaving her skin. The door opens and Lauren almost falls backwards before Lucy grabs her by her shirt.

Lauren hurriedly slams the door closed as Lucy wraps her arms around her from behind, unzipping her jeans. She nuzzles her nose in the raven colored locks and her hands make their way past Lauren's pants. Her fingers press down against silk fabric and Lauren's fingers turn white as she presses them into the surface of the door, trying desperately to stay upright.

"No funny business huh?" Lucy groans against Lauren's ear before harshly biting down on it. The younger girl cries out as she's pulled away from the door and onto the freshly made bed.

"I'm sorry." She chokes out as Lucy's face hovers inches above hers, jaw clenched and pupils dilated. And she can't take the sight, closing her eyes as soon as she notices the eyes above her well up with tears. Tears she's been on the verge of crying for years. Lauren repeats her words like a broken record, "I'm sorry."

Lucy swallows and exhales shakily, "For what? I need to hear you say it."

"Lucy, I-"

A knock on the door interrupts them. "Hey Lucy! It's Dinah Jane."

"How does she-" Lucy gets off the bed.

"Lo texted me your room number!"

"Hide." Lucy hisses.

"It's okay, she knows." Lauren zips up her pants and runs a hand through her messy hair.

The sight or more what it does to her, angers Lucy and she groans internally as she walks towards the door.

As soon as it opens Dinah wraps her arms around Lucy's tinier frame, and her face ends up buried in Dinah's neck. "It's so good to see you! Lauren never let us hang out I'm so happy we get to become friends now."

"Yeah me too." Lucy smiles shyly, mentally counting the amount of seconds it takes for Dinah to notice Lauren, who's now casually texting on the bed like nothing happened there mere minutes ago.

"Laur?" There it is. "What are you doing here?"

"I brought Lucy to her room. What are you doing here? Stealing my best friend?" Lauren jokes before she locks her phone and gets up. "I'm gonna go get ready for dinner." she brushes past the two girls without a proper goodbye.

"O-kay." Dinah watches Lauren disappear behind the elevator doors before turning to Lucy. "Wanna get ready with me and Alz?"

"Sure, let me just grab my stuff." Lucy's decided she loves Dinah already.

No more than 2 minutes later they're in Dinah and Ally's hotel room, jamming out to The Cheetah Girls while slowly realizing Dinah's miscalculation when she'd decided three girls and one mirror would work just fine.

Lucy decides to sit this battle out, settling on the edge of the bathtub as Dinah and Ally do their hair and make up as they simultaneously managing to bombard her with questions about her life, where she was born, her favorite color, how she met Lauren, what she studies and Lucy puts an equal amount of thought  into every answer. By the time Ally and Dinah are finally done they're late and Normani is blaming Dinah on Facetime the entire elevator ride down from the 31st to the 1st floor.

After what seems like an eternity they're seated and waiting for their drinks. Lucy and Ally on one side, Normani and Dinah on the other and Lauren at the head of the table, as far away from Lucy as possible.
