"You cheated on Keaton."

"Hm?" Lauren rubs her eyes before opening them slightly to find Lucy fully clothed and sitting on the extra bed with her legs pulled up to her chest, "It's too early for this, Luce."

"I don't care. You cheated. And I was an accomplice."

Lauren snorts, "You're so dramatic." she stretches to find she's a little sore, "Besides, it doesn't count."

"Why not?" To her own horror Lucy's voice sounds paper thin.

Lauren shrugs, appearing completely relaxed, "Cause you're you. And I'm me. This is just our... thing."

"Our thing?" Lucy repeats, mockingly, voice laced with a little bit of hurt and disbelief.

"Why are you so bothered all of a sudden? And to think I was gonna wake you up in a sexy way." Lauren pouts and it's so endearing Lucy can't help but crack a smile.

"You're insufferable, Lauren Jauregui."

"You love me, Lucy Vives." Lauren finally gets up, stretching once more, "Now let's go eat something I'm starving." she gets up and picks up her shorts and panties from last night, inspecting them carefully, back turned to her best friend, "And if Keaton finds out about this somehow I'll kill you."

Lucy doesn't respond.

Lauren throws the dirty clothing on the top of her laundry basket before changing her mind, "My parents can't see this." she mutters to herself, throwing it into her bathroom's sink instead.

"You got that, babe?!"

Lucy doesn't respond again.

Lauren sighs in annoyance, "Why are you so dramatic?!" She turns around to call the girl out when she notices she's in fact not being ignored on purpose.

Lucy's entire face looks like it's on fire, "Please, get dressed before I become an accomplice again." Her voice is low and strained and Lauren feels it tug in her lower belly.

"An accomplice of what crime exactly?" The younger girl smiles down at her clothed friend innocently as she plays with a strand of hair.

Lucy clenches her jaw and averts her gaze, "I hate you." She gets up, seemingly to pass Lauren and leave the room.

"No you don't."

Lucy doesn't move. Doesn't leave. Just stands there, eyes on the ceiling.

"You love-"

And she doesn't let Lauren finish her sentence.
