I love this video, the way that it was edited was absolutely amazing. If you want to find it just search 'human bucky' there's two other's I am fond of, one being 'Umbrella bucky' and another is 'faded bucky' which is what I searched to find them. They're also great songs. I reread my last chapter and thought it was kinda crappy compared to the others, so I'm making a part 2.

Dick's POV

I'm surrounded by villains, well sort of, but there were enough to make it count. The Joker and Harley, no surprises there but the Riddler, and Poison Ivy were also present. Then of course there were just the henchmen that did whatever.

The key players were climbing a ladder onto a platform, presumably to watch the chaos that the Team and myself were making.

'Don't let them get away!' I shouted through the mind link, though it may have been out loud. 'Zatanna come with me! We've got to stop them!'

She subconsciously nodded and followed after me as I ran towards the ladder.

The Joker and his gang of villains had opened a panel in the ceiling and were clambering through to the roof, where a ride was undoubtedly waiting.

I started to scale up the ladder, Zatanna right behind me as a scream came from behind us. Our heads whipped around to see M'ghann on her knees in the middle of the concrete floor, holding her forehead.  Everyone else was still wrapped up in the fight, occasionally sparing her regretful glances as they swirled around battling various villains.

"She'll be fine but we've got to keep going." I prompted.

"I know." Zatanna didn't look overly happy as she said it, but I couldn't blame her. We continued hurriedly up the ladder.

The two of us trailed the Joker's steps as we made it up through the hole in the roof. As we rose, I noticed two things. One, there was a helicopter on the roof, with our enemies inside. two, i was starting to take off.

I impulsively ran towards it and lept, somehow managing to get a grip on the bar of metal underneath the aircraft. Zatanna nearly missed but I caught her hand before she could fall and pulled her up before I wrenched the door open and stepped in.

The Clown Prince of crime turned from his place at the drivers seat and greeted us with his signature nightmarish grin.

"Harls, drive this thing, I have a bird to butcher."

"Sure thing, Mistah J!" She responded gleefully, taking his place.

"Has Bird-Boy got himself a girlfriend?"

The green haired monster standing in front of me pulled a gun from his purple jacket and before I could react, aimed and fired at the Magician next to me.

"No!" I yelled, as she dropped to the floor. Fury coursing through me, I tried to kick him, punch him, something! But he blocked every hit I aimed at him. I threw a batarang and it dug into his arm, making him stumble backwards.

"You are truly a pain Boy Blunder, perhaps you should be taught a lesson. Hm?" He commented maliciously as his arms pulled me forward and wrapped around my shoulders and a knife was dragged quickly and harshly across my arm. I stomped on his foot and twisted away from him. Then there was sharp, splintering pain in my gut and I dropped to my knees, covering the bullet wound with my hand. Coincidentally, or maybe not, I'd landed by Zatanna who was curled on the floor. Blood was seeping from a wound in her stomach that was loosely protected by her red-stained hand. I reached over to her, trying to see if she was breathing or not.  I didn't have the chance to find out because at that moment, Ivy swung forward and kicked me out through the open door.

The ground was growing closer and I closed my eyes bracing for an impact that wasn't forthcoming.

I shot upward, my eyes flying open. Katie was kneeling next to me on the floor, her hand was on my arm and she was frozen in place. Oh god, I must've woken her up. I hate that I can't keep these nightmares to myself. That no matter how hard I try, I still wake other people. That I can't stop bothering people with problems that my mind creates, things that didn't even happen.

"Dick? Are you okay?" She asked.

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine." A tear slides down my face as I say it. Annoyed, I wipe it away.

"I don't think you are."

"I am!"

She pushed it a little farther by saying, "Dick! When you're crying, you're not okay! I'm here for you, I haven't known you long but it's true! I'm sorry if I'm pushing your buttons but I want you to trust me!"

Katie was right,  and I did trust her for some reason. Maybe because we were both outsiders at school, for different reasons but we were made fun of and hurt by our peers. The people we were supposed to feel safe around turned against us, calling us bad names. Pushing me closer to the edge.

I dropped my head, letting a few more tears stain the sheets.

"Katie-"

"Shut up." She pulled me forward into a tight hug. I didn't try to get away, I let her hold me and wrapped my own arms around her. Sobs came more easily and tears flowed freely. We stayed there for a long time, just holding each other and hiding from the rest of the world.
