°Phil's pov°

We went upstairs, I had began to share small talk with Connor because I didn't want him feeling isolated.

"Hey so uhm do you think If we work late tonight and tomorrow in class that we can finish?" I asked Connor

"Yeah I really do think so" Connor replied smiling

*cough cough* Dan's cough ever so falsely.

"Hey Dan what's up? Tell me about yourself" Connor spoke up.

"Erm, I don't know why you would want to know about me since this project is between you and Phil" Dan replied a bit tired of Connors words.

"Well I for one think it would be nice" I said gesturing Dan to talk to Connor.

"Yeah okay" Dan said going into a conversation with Connor.

We could not stop laughing at Dan who had just fallen off the chair.

"Hahahhahahahahah" our loud laughs being heard from everywhere in the room and maybe even house.

"That was hilarious" Dan said standing up from his fallen position.

"It really was, are you okay though" Connor asked Dan

"Yeah mate. Everything's fine" Dan replied

With a smile.

It looked as if they were finally getting along, they had been teasing each other and at first it started off harshly but then became playful teasing.

By the end of the night I felt glad we all got along.

"Bye Connor!" Dan yelled pushing him slightly in a joking manor.

"Bye bye" I said before closing the door.

"Now we can finally cuddle and laugh till we call asleep" Dan said hugging me from behind and pulling me to the stairs.

"Hahahahaha" I couldn't resist laughing.

I love Dan.

Dan and I were in bed laughing about the movie we were watching.

"I can't believe that girl thought he was the guy she was looking for" Dan said snuggling his head into the crack of my neck

I had an urge to kiss Dan.
What's wrong with me?
No Phil you're just confused and in the moment.
Snap out of it.

"Hey Dan I'm sleepy let's go to sleep yeah?" I asked feeling exhausted and I just wanted to escape my thoughts.

"Yeah okay philly. Goodnight" He said pulling me in for a kiss on the cheek and hugging me tightly.

And with that we fell asleep.

"Wake up boys. You have school today" I heard my mum say before leaving the room.

"Dan Dan" I shook him till he woke up

"Yeah? I just want sleep" He said pulling me in to snuggle.

"No, I have to get up and maybe I can even finish the project with Connor today" I said

"Oh yea and this girl named Sally is your partner. I thought I would tell you today since you start the project with her." I said getting up and going towards the bathroom to brush my teeth then went back to my room to change.

I saw Dan changing into his usual colour clothing

Black.

"Yeh alright thinks philly for letting me know" he finished with a smile.

"Why are you so happy?" I asked him putting my white vans on

"She's cute, you know" he said stepping out and heading towards the kitchen.

Why does it hurt so much?
Why am I feeling this way?
Damnit.

"I hope you guys have a good day today!" My mum said eating the last piece of toast she had on her plate.

"Yeah I sure will!" Dan said getting his plate and cleaning up after himself.

"Why is that Danny?" My mum asked him amused at his response

"I get to work with this girl named Sally.. and well she's really cute" Dan said

"Ooooo, What about you philly? You and that Connor guy" my mum raised an eyebrow at me.

Dan turned around looking sad?

Why would he be sad? he's probably going to have a thing with that Sally chick..

I snapped out of my thoughts and simply replied.. and let me just tell you, I don't know what the hell I was thinking when I said this.

"He's taking me on a date tonight" I said realization hitting me hard right before I said that.

"Oh... I thought you and" she signaled to Dan who was at the door packing his bag

"Would be a thing, not you and some random boy who will probably end up breaking your sweet little heart love" my mum said looking worried/mad.

"Well I'll make sure that doesn't happen, I can take care of myself you know" I said getting up, feeling done with this conversation

I wasn't even bothered to pick up after myself and just left.

School was a bore today.

Today it was as if Dan and I weren't even in each others life, as if he was just another stranger to me at this school.

"Oh hey Phil" Dan said joining me again since he had gone off to talk to Sally before class.

Phil? Why didn't he call me philly? I'm just acting stupid.

"Oh hey.. how's Sally?" I asked, but inside I was so jealous and so uninterested.

"We agreed on working at this little café down the street from here" he said sounding precise.

"Nice, let's just go to class yeah?" I said

We walked to class in silence, and it wasn't even comforting silence it was an awkward type of silence.

Weird.

We entered the classroom sitting at different desks since we did have to work with different partners.

"Hey philly" Connor said taking a seat beside me.

"Oh hey Connor. Ready to finish this up?" I asked before remembering something.

"Uhm how would you like to go have a lunch date at that little café down the street?" I asked him sounding a little too desperately.

"Sounds amazing! What made you think of such a great idea?" He asked me, his eyes gleaming from pure happiness.

"Oh uhm just wanted to have a little celebration for finishing this project" oh my god I'm so stupid that sounded so fake

But he seems to believe me, so it's all good.

Class was spent with me looking over at Dan and Sally who seemed to be getting along so well, it bothered me so much.

I love Dan?
