The next day I got ready for school again. I woke up earlier to take a shower. I got dressed in my uniform and slipped on my shoes.

My hair was a little damp. The rest of it was curly causing it to rest a little above my shoulders. I pinned the bangs back before turning the bathroom lights off.

I quietly walked to my bed stand to unplug my phone and slip it into my book back before putting it on my shoulder.

I heard Archie getting up so I hurried out of the room. I rushed into the kitchen and made some toast before cleaning up and leaving.

I managed to get to school ten minutes before it started. Unlike yesterday were I had gotten here almost an hour before school.

Sailor was in the classroom but Rowan wasn't. That doesn't really surprise me. I just think she waits outside or something until the bell rings. I'd do that but I rather just be inside the classroom.

"Hey." She greeted me with a hug as soon as I sat down next to her.

I didn't see why she hated Rowan so much. Rowan is so kind to me and then even being around me puts Sailor in a sour mood.

"Do you want to stay the night with me on Friday?" Sailor asked me with a cheerful smile.

I looked at her surprised. We haven't even known each other for a long time and she is asking me to have a sleep over with her. But it does sound better then being stuck in a apartment full of girls who hate you for no reason.

"Will it just be us?"

She shook her head. "My cousins are visiting and will be staying with me. But don't worry, their very nice and open minded."

I nodded. Is it still a good idea to go over her house? Her cousins could turn out to hate me. I don't even know what they do at sleepovers anymore. I haven't been to one since I was thirteen and was still closeted. When I came out every girl I knew stopped being friends with me. What if that happens at her sleepover?

I nodded. I doubt that'll happen here. Sailor is a very nice girl, I doubt she'd ever do anything like that. "Yeah, I'll go. Is there anything that I really need?" I asked her.

She thought about it before answering. "Actually can you bring a bathing suit? And sandals and sun glasses. We'll probably be swimming. Other than that we will be inside the house unless we decide to sleep outside but Lilly is too much of a girly girl to do anything like that."

I nodded. "I can do that."

She smiled at me. "Good. Thank you."

"No problem." I said but was cut off but someone tapping on my shoulder. I turned around to see a pretty girl with big round glasses blushing and holding up a folded piece of paper in her hand.

I raised my eyebrow only for her to shove the piece of paper in my hand before going back to her seat. Two other girls next to her started laughing. I turned around to Sailor.

"What was that?" she asked me.

I shrugged my shoulders. "I don't know."

I glanced back down at the paper before unfolding it. 'You're cute.  -Kayla' it said. My eyes widened. Someone actually thought I was cute?

"What does it say?" Sailor asked from beside me.

I lifted up the note to show her. Her expression changed from confused to trying not to laugh. "Someone has a crush on you? That's hilarious!"

"Who has a crush on you?" Rowan asked from behind me.

I turned around and handed her the note. As she read the note I checked her out. She was wearing her uniform but left her hair down and curly. She looked... cute.

"Kayla? Doesn't she say that to every new girl that comes here?" She asked Sailor.

Sailor glared at her and nodded. I'm surprised that she didn't have a rude remark to say. But I'm grateful that she stayed silent.

"So I'm not lucky that some girl has a crush on me. Well that sure does suck." I admitted and glanced back at Kayla, who was still smiling at me only for me to glare at her. There's no way in hell I'm gonna get my heart played again.

"Trust me, you don't want Kayla to have a crush on you. She's crazy and will do anything to get with you, then when you do date it's like dating Satan himself. She'll take your money and then cheat on you. Not saying this from experience, but it's a well known fact. So stay away from that leech." Rowan sat down next to me and stared at Kayla as she talked.

I didn't know that. Thank God Rowan told me those things. I don't want that to happen to me. I feel extremely bad for whoever dated her.

"Oh, that reminds me, can we meet up at the library again tonight?" Rowan asked me with hopeful eyes.

I smiled. "Yes. Afterschool or later than that?"

"How about 5:30? That gives us enough time to eat and do whatever we want until them, is that alright?"

"Sure, why not." I shrugged my shoulders. I may be acting chill on the outside but on the inside I'm trying not to squeal in happiness. I enjoyed talking to her last night. Especially when walking home. We didn't talk much but I loved it.

"Should-" she went to say but the bell cut her off. She rolled her eyes. "I'll ask later." she whispered before turning to face the teacher. I did the same but after I pulled out my notes we needed to finish.

sorry for not updating for a long time. for some reason I got the inspiration from my breakup. so that's why I put Kayla in the book. Because I'm still salty asf and I'm lonely. But who wants to read about me complaining, right?
