-Rowan leaned against me and rested her head on my shoulder as I stirred the pot.
"Thank you for making dinner." She kissed my shoulder blade, smirking when I shivered.
I shrugged. "It's really no problem."
She hummed and stepping away, much to my disappointment.
I heard her open the cupboard and pull out some bowls.
I thought back to earlier, feeling guilty that Kayla and her might fight. In the car she told me that she wouldn't fight her unless she hits first to calm me down.
I'm happy she said that, because the school has a strict "no fighting" policy.
I poured some of the soup into the bowls Rowan set out for me. She placed a spoon in each of them before taking them to her small dinner table.
I pull two water bottles from the fridge before making my way towards her.
We start eating in silence for a few minutes, which I didn't mind too much.
"So," she began. "Is all of your homework finished?"
I nodded. "Yes, why?"
She shrugged. "I wanted to watch a movie with you tonight."
I smiled. "A scary one?"
"Yes, the one you've been bugging me about."
I squealed and squeezed her hand that rested on the table. "Thank you!"
She smiled at my and squeezed my hand back. "You're welcome."
Later after putting away dinner and washing the dishes, we sat in her bed watching the movie.
She was pressed up against her headboard with my legs thrown over hers.
"If it's too scary for you let me know."
I rolled my eyes. "Whatever."
