The next day was very calm. Kayla didn't show up to school, which wasn't that surprising considering she likes to skip a lot.

After school I decided to go back to the apartment. I wasn't sure if I wanted to start staying here again or completely live with Rowan. I really like her, but what would happen if I got kicked out? I'm not sure if my spot in the apartment would stil be open.

But on the other hand, I really like living with Rowan. She isn't on my ass constantly and she lets me cook dinner for her. Which was a privilege since my parents would never let me cook. She also helped me with some of my homework, surprising, yes I know.

She told me I should go and get a few more outfits from my apartment and stay longer. I agree, since it's been really fun.

Rowan took me over to the apartment and decided to come in with me so Archie wouldn't mess with me. Her words, not mine.

"So your parents still pay for you to live here?" She asked as I unlocked the door.

"Well, they're paying for me to go to school and live here. But they got a discount so I live here pretty cheap."

"Aren't you worried they're wasting money?"

I shook my head. "Not really. They're not exactly nice people and they have money to waste so it doesn't really matter to me."

"Huh." She looked like she wanted to say something but didn't.

Most of the lights were off in the apartment, telling me most of the girls still weren't home.

Some of the doors were open with the lights on, faint talking coming from the rooms. It was Lena and Marina who were home. I didn't bother saying anything to them and walked past their bedroom's to mine.

The door was open but the lights were off. I turned them on and was glad to see all of my things untouched.

"I think you should bring your bathing suit." I raised my eyebrows at her.

"Why?"

"I think we should go to the beach or something this weekend." She had a small smile on her face.

I nodded. "Okay."

I pulled out a few bags from underneath my bed before heading to the bathroom to grab the rest of my skincare, makeup, and my hair things. I zipped the bag up and walked back into the room to find my bathing suits sprawled across my bed and my underwear draw open.

I felt my cheeks turn red.

"I think you should bring these two." Rowan pointed to a high waisted bikini and a one piece that was very low clevage. I forgot I even had those.

"Oh, uh, I guess I can." Did I mention I hate them?

She threw them in my bag before helping me pack. When I finished she got up and put a few of my perfumes into my bag along with some jewelry.

I raised my eyebrow at her. "You look incredible in jewelry, so why not?"

I rolled my eyes and blushed. "Oh hush."

She laughed and grabbed my bags for me, which I protested against only for her to tell me to shut up and open the door.

"Kai!" I turned around to see Marina.

"Oh, hi." I mumbled, not very happy to see her.

"Where have you been staying? I've been worried about you."

I resisted the urge to roll my eyes. "With Rowan, I told Archie and Haven when I left."

"Oh, they just told me you yelled at them a left."

I scoffed. "You should know whatever comes out of their mouths is complete trash."

She shrugs.

"So I'll be staying with Rowan a bit longer, okay?"

She frowns. "Oh, okay. Don't you want to say hi to Lena before you leave."

No I thought. "Sure."

Marina ran to her room and got Lena.

She suddenly launched herself at me. "Hey hot stuff, I've missed you!"

I laughed. "Hey Lena."

She frowned. "Aw man, I thought for sure you would've fell in love with me when you were gone."

I shook my head and laughed. "Nope."

"Who is that?" She looked at Rowan.

"Rowan, this is Lena, Lena, this is Rowan. I've been staying with her."

"Oh." She nodded. "Well it's been nice catching up with you. I'll tell Satan and her sidekick you visited."

I tilted my head at her.

"We got into a fight when you left. Punches were thrown and words exchanged but oh well, should've saw it coming."

My eyes widened. Holy shit.

"Anyways, see you later. Bye!"

I'm sorry for the late update! I've been busy with driver's training (whack) and procrastinating.
