***Mia's POV***

"What just happened?" I say, opening my eyes. We're back at my house, just Liam and I. No. Crap. I can NOT be alone with him. Ugh. If I spend more time with him, I'll like him even more. We can't have that happening.

"You blacked out... kind of." Liam replies as he hands me a glass of water. We sit there in awkward silence for a second, before I chug down my water in hopes of relieving the tension. It doesn't work.

"Oh. Wait, what do you mean by kind of?" I ask suspiciously. You can either black out, or you can't. It's pretty simple.

"Well, you went all limp after we escaped the paparazzi, but your eyes were open and you were mumbling things." He smiled at the last part.

"W-what was I... um... m-mumbling. D-do you know by- by any chance?" He laughs now. I give him a look that says- 'are you a freaking psychopath?'.

"You... you were talking about... about how apparently Justin Beiber ate all of your french-fries... a-and how deeply in love you are... are with sock-monkeys." he manages to choke out in between laughs. I blush, furrowing my eyebrows.

"Well, I'm sorry, but sock-monkeys are the cutest stuffed animals ever. It's scientifically proven. And I have one and his name is Senor Guapo and he's the cutest of all the sock-monkeys." I pout. It's true.

"Oh. I didn't know that sock-monkeys could be scientifically tested on." He smirks as he rolls his eyes

"Smart-ass." I mutter just loud enough so he can hear me clearly.

"What about the Justin Beiber thing?" He asks.

"Jealous?" I tease back. Check and Mate.

"Why would I be jealous of him?"

"I meant me. We all know that your life-long dream is to have the Justin Beiber eat every single french fry of yours."

"Yes. You caught me. I don't want to get married or have kids or fall in love. I just want the Justin Beiber to eat all of my french fries." Liam fake swoons. "Now get packing. We leave for the airport in about two hours."

"Fine, bossy-pants. I see how it is." I joke. He throws me over his shoulder again and carries me into the living room where all of my clothes and suitcases are. I know Suitcase-s as in plural. I'm only taking two small ones. Plus a backpack. And a purse. Don't forget the guitar case. Okay so I don't pack light. Sue me.

I bang on Liam's back until he throws me on the couch.

"Gentle! Geez, be careful." I fuss sitting up.

"You're immortal. It's not like you're going to die. " He teases back.

"Go away. I need to concentrate." I push him towards the door.

"On what?" He laughs. Damn that's cute. Wait, what the hell, Mia? You're not supposd to fall for this guy. No. Bad Mia. Bad.

"On packing. Now, leave!" I shout. I throw everything in a random place, but carefully check that I bring all of my electronics and any instruments I'll need.

"Mia, are you done packing?" Jasmine asks, causing me to look up. I smile.

"Yeah. Just need to try and zip them up. Prepare for war!" I shout at the suitcases as I sit on it and zip it up. "What now?"

"Alright, well we're leaving in half an hour." Jasmine giggles and walks back into Harry's and her room.

"Mia!" I hear Jane call my name. Ugh. Now I have to walk. Gross. The stairs catch my foot, causing me to fall into the front window and smushing my face.

"What?" I yell at Jane as I finally make it to her room.

"How many bags can I take?" She asks, sitting on her bed which is piled high with colorful clothing.

"None. You're not coming."

"What?! What do you mean I'm not coming?!" She screams.

"It's just what it sounds like. You can't come."

"Why not?" she pleads.

"Because you need to stay here and help mom. It's not like I'm choosing to go with them, that doesn't mean I don't like them all, but I'm not allowed to leave until I'm cleared. I promise you'll see them again. I know how important they are to you and if I have to go to another one of their concerts and get hit in the head by a microphone again just so that you can see them, then I will." I say rubbing her back. I see how she looks up to them and it must be really hard to get close to them over the past few weeks and then not be able to see them anymore. I know that I would be devastated if I had to say goodbye to Liam. Mia stop admitting it to yourself. Seriously! Ugh. I have to stop thinking about him permenantly. Erase all feelings for him.

"You promise?" she looks up and tears fill her eyes.

"Yes. I promise." I reply cautiously.

We get all of our bags into the car and say goodbye to everyone before driving to the city. I sit next to Liam and plug in my headphones to listen to some of my music. Demons by Imagine Dragons blasts through the headphones and startles me, making me hit my head on the roof of the car.

"Woah. You okay there? You don't want to get another concussion." Liam smiles at me.

"Yeah. Hey, I'm gonna try and sleep. Can you wake me up?" I ask him. It wasn't going to be twenty minutes because we were driving down to JFK airport and the road trip was about four hours.

I began to doze off around the end of You Found Me by The Fray and by the time This Little Girl by Cady Groves came on, I was fully asleep.
