Ugh. My head hurts. I slowly opened my eyes to see a pair of blue eyes looking at me.

"Hey princess. "River said. I smiled at him. Wait. What just happened? why is he even that close to me. His hot breath was fanning my face. He was so close to me that I feared he heard my heart beats. I fell for him from the first time I saw him. Not like Mason. He's much sexier? prettier? and more gorgeous in his own way.

"H-hey. "I stuttered nervously.

"How's your head?"he asked in his husky low voice.

"It's hurting. "He frowned and got off me.

I sat up a bit. I winced and regretted doing that.

"But don't worry. It's ok. "

"That shit ! I should've stopped him!".

"Who?"

"Mason. He hit you with a rock...By mistake. "He said clenching his hand into fists.

I can see he's angry.

"Why did he do that? Again?" I whispered.

"Again? when was the first time?" He asked.

"I was in the forest and then a wolf was about to attach us when he hit my head with a rock. "I said.

He looked madder than before I placed my hand on his shoulder and he seem to relax directly. "It's ok. Don't worry. "

He looked at me and our eyes met. It held a small hint of anger and sorry. "Are you ok?" he raised a hand slowly and placed it gently on my cheek. It was so warm , making me want him to touch me more. Why am I even saying that?! Maybe cause I'm a bit cold.

I nodded my head, he gave me a small smile.

"Where are we?" I looked around. Everything seem to be old and dusty. The room had a soft white bed which seems to be the only thing.

"Well at my pack house. "

He said.

I nodded looking around. "Wait. What's a pack house?" I asked.

"It's the place where people like me meet in. "

"Oh..kay. "I said he smiled at me. I got up from the bed and walked around the room.

I looked at the picture that was stuck to the wall. It was huge and framed with a picture of a white wolf in a colorful garden.

"You like wolves?" I asked.

"We are wolves. " He said. I chuckled. Like yea right.

"Really. " Did he just read my mind? I turned around to face him.

He was serious.

That make sense.

I saw a wolf then I saw him.

So werewolves are real!

It was real what I saw !

Oh no. He took a step forward.

"Y-you're w-what?" I took a step back wards.

"I'm a werewolf. That's what I wanted to tell you. "

I placed a hand on my mouth. He was a wolf. Just like the one creature that killed my parents. Just like the one that ripped my father's head off. Just like the one that took my mother as her pure blood left a trail after her as he took her to the woods.

"No. " I whispered as my vision blurred.

"Yes baby. What's wrong. " He said.

I breathed heavily. I get to go out of the room. Better out of this place.
