After The Nightfall ...

•Chapter 35•

Daniel paced the room back and forth. His hand in his hair and focusing to figure out how to solve it all.

"I'm going out." Daniel said suddenly. I stood up looking at him worried.

"Are you sure?" I asked walking toward him. He nodded.

"Yea babe. I need to get out my wolf. Its stressing me out." he said kissing my forehead. "You'll be okay?" He looked in my eyes.

"Mm yea. " I nodded then gave him an assuring smile.

He hugged me to his chest then pulled away. He walked out of the room and few seconds the front door shut.

I hugged my knees as I sat back down. Alex, Eve and Avery sat close to me.

"It's okay. They won't get us. " Alex assured me placing a hand on my knee.

"How can you be so sure?" I asked looking at her with a sigh.

"I'm sure. "She said. Eve nodded.

"Hell no one is going to hurt my family and you're already our future Luna. " Avery said.

"But I can't stop the guilt inside me. It's all my fault. " I said shaking my head.

"Hey! It's not only your fault. It's ours as well. Don't you remember?" Alex said.

"Well yea maybe. But I was the one who planned on leaving. It's been my fault from the very beginning." I said drying the tear from my eyes.

"No. Hey look at me." Alex said raising my face to look at her. "I was the one that planned on skipping out every night with Mason and then I was the one who told the hunters and I was the reason they took you to Las Vegas so here you have no reason to blame yourself."

"Yea but I ran away with River and then we came here and got this pack in danger. That's an enough reason to be blamed. Alpha Mike was right. "I admitted.

"Oh lord that guy got me shitting my pants. He's so scary ! " Alex said.

"Damn yea. "Eve said. "More than Landon when he's pissed off. "

Avery laughed at them. "That's the worst it can get. Don't worry you will get used to it."

I laughed at bit then let out a deep breath. "What shall we do now?"

"We gotta plan it out. " Alex said. They all agreed.

"Are we ready?" I asked. Avery nodded. I looked at Eve from the rearview mirror, she nodded as well. I looked behind Avery and saw Alex nod,"lets do it!" She clapped her hands.

I chuckled at her excitement. She always cheered me up even when it wasn't her intentions.

We all girls came up with a plan, knowing werewolves, they fight like a Ninja. So Avery agreed to take up on half the plan but it scared me a bit. Knowing that Daniel wouldn't be pleased when he find out what was going on. It's for the pack, we had to do it for the pack. I kept chanting that in my head over and over like a mantra.

Avery laid a hand on my thighs giving me a light assuring squeeze. She pursed a smile and I gave her one back.

"I know you're worried, but it'll be okay. "She assured again. I sighed then nodded pulling on the black SUV to drive.

As I took off to the road, I prayed that everything will indeed be okay.. Just like we planned.
