After The Nightfall ...

•Chapter 15•

I ran hearing wolf howls. My heart beating so fast in my chest. "You're next." Someone yelled behind me as I ran.

Every now and then I'd look behind me ..but the wolves are doubling . Gosh. How many. 5, 6, 7 ..I kept running. Between trees , above bushes.

I looked above my shoulder and Without knowing what was in front of me ..I fell from a cliff-

"Aaaaaaahhhh. " I woke up sweat covering my face and body.

"It's ok. It's just a dream. "River said giving me a sad smile . I sat up right moving far from him.

"Are you ok?" He asked.

"N-nnoo j-just a b-ad d-ream" I said as I breathed heavily.

He went out of the room. I sighed. Laying back down. I miss my parents so much , and I don't want to end up like them. Wolves are stronger than me. I look like strong in front of them but in fact whenever I think about them I feel unsafe. I feel scared. I cried as I thought about them.

"Here. " River was back with a cup of water. I took a small sip and wiped my tears away.

"Thanks. "I hugged by knees and cuddled by blanket feeling so cold. Damn. LV is cold at night. I shivered.

River went back to the second side of the bed and slowly laid down looking at the ceiling. His 8 abs were fully uncovered and-oh let me tell you he looked like a goddess in bed.

"A-aren't you cold?" I asked. I mean it freezing out there and he's shirtless. Unless he's abnormal.

"Uh no. We don't get cold. " he said looking at me. I nodded.

"Are you cold?" He looked at me in a caring way.

"Just a little. "I whispered.

"Oh come here. " He said opening his muscular hand to me.

I shook my hand. "N-nno I'm fine. "

"Please. I won't hurt you." He said. I sighed. I had to get closer to him. I couldn't feel my legs.

I took off my blanket and got closer to him. Man , his chest is a heater. I felt so good. He wrapped his left arm around me and he laid his head on his other hand.

"Thank you. " He chuckled. I raised an eyebrow at me.

"You don't seem like a girl that say thanks much. "He chuckled more.

"Yea. I rarely say that. "I laughed. He smiled.

"So aren't you going to sleep ? It's still pass 3 am." he said.

"Nah. But I'm tired. "He nodded.

I yawned making him chuckle again and every time he chuckle his chest vibrates.

He kissed my forehead, I smiled blushing.

"Damn you blush. "He laughed. I blushed more.

"Yea. Stop that. "I said hitting his chest playfully.

"What? It's not my fault you're the one hugging me. "He chuckled.

"Hey! Just because I feel cold it doesn't mean that I'm hugging you. "I said trying my best not to smile.

"Yea yea. Whatever. " I narrowed my eyes at him.

"Ok then I'll leave you. "I said sitting up , but he grabbed me back to him , making me unable to move.

"No. I was kidding. "He pouted like a baby. I laughed at him. He hugged me like a teddy bear ,putting a leg on me and hugging me with both hands.

I then felt my eyes so heavy and drifted to sleep.
