The Kraken is a legendary sea creature that is similar to Julia, but it resembles a giant octopus. It is said to use its large tentacles to drag ships down into the depths by coiling them around the frame and dragging them down into the sea, breaking the ship and taking anyone down with it as well. Some say that it dwells off the coast of Norway and Greenland. It is said that the Kraken can drag down a Man-Of-War. For comparison to a schooner, a Man-Of-War can be up to 60 metres long and contains up to 124 cannons. No one knows where the kraken came from but some believe that it was created by God or the Devil and sent into the ocean to test any sailors that would be foolish enough to attempt to fight it.
How do you kill the kraken?
Just like with Julia, going after the kraken would also be extremely inadvisable. If you do come across it, use anything you can before it drags your ship down into the depths. Use weapons such as axes, harpoons, rifles, even explosives. Abandoning ship would be the wisest course of action, the kraken's tentacles would easily crush anyone that it would land on and may even grab anyone and throw them into the sea, or worse, into its jaws.
