Chapter 14

Today’s the first day back at school and I don’t want to leave my little girl. I know she’ll be safe with my mum, but it makes it a little hard knowing I have a little girl waiting for me to get home.

I arrived in time for the first bell.  I haven’t seen Garry since yesterday when he tried to come over, but I refused to open the door because I was still pissed about him lying to me. His excuse was, “I’m sorry baby. I went to Glen’s and I was still tired from the night before and I crashed on his lounge an hour after I got there.” That’s what crap he tried spinning me, but glen rang to tell me it was the truth.

I walked into roll call and took my seat.  Everyone looked at me, and few people congratulated me and asked to see some pictures of Chloe; even our teacher.

“Oh look at her.”

“She’s so much like Garry.”

 “Aww, she’s chubby.”

“How are you doing? Are you coping alright?”

“I can’t wait to really meet her.”

I got asked these questions all day, but I still heard some of the stuck up bitches calling me a slut and a whore and everything else they could think of. I didn’t let them get to me. I held my head high and just smiled at them when I heard what they were saying.

I was walking to my next class when I saw a group of people in the middle of the corridor and then all the shouting as I got closer.

“Don’t you dare call her a slut! We all know who the biggest slut of the school is,” I heard Veronica screaming at her and I knew instantly it was about me. She was defending me like any best friend would.

“V, come on. It’s not worth it. As you said, we know who the real slut is,” I said in anger.

“How dare you call me a slut. I wasn’t knocked up at the age of fourteen,” she spat at me.

“You’re just a jealous whore because Garry didn’t want you, he wanted me. He’s always pushing you away. It’s me he wants, not you. So go find another cock to suck and leave me and Garry the fuck alone!” I yelled in her face. I went to turn my back to walk away, but the little bitch grabbed my hair.  God was she in for a shock.

I didn’t have to move my head to know she was in reach, so I pulled my right leg up towards my chest and slowly swung it back and pushed my foot right into her stomach. She instantly released my hair and dropped to the floor.

“Suck shit bitch,” someone in the crowd yelled out.

“Next time you touch me I’ll do a lot more than just kick you in the stomach and that’s not a threat, it’s a promise,” I spat at her. I was so angry I just wanted to walk over to her and punch the shit out of her, but Amy and Kelly dragged me and Veronica away because V turned around and tried to go for her again.

“That’s enough. Come on, you both got her good,” Kelly said to Veronica and I.

The next thing you know we are all sitting in the office waiting to see the principle.

“Great, just what I need,” I sighed.

“You’ll be okay. It will be Cassie that’s in shit,” V said trying to reassure me.

“Yeah what V said, the principle knows what happened with you having little Chloe. She’ll be on your side,” said Amy.

“Hey, have any of you seen Garry today?” I asked.

“He was in roll call, but I haven’t seen him since,” replied Kelly.

“Okay, thanks,” I said.

This is really pissing me off.  He’s hardly around anymore. I really need to know why he’s been so distant.

I was called into the principal’s office and she said no action will be dealt at this time, but if I was in a fight again she’ll have to suspend me. ‘Oh well, at least I’ll get to stay with my girl,’ I thought.

I went to lunch and saw Garry sitting with Glen, so I walked over and gave him a kiss on the head.

“Hey baby, where have you been?” I asked.

“I had to spend my first three periods in the library,” he replied.

Glen sat there nodding his head with a bored look on his face.

“I heard about your little argument with Cassie, heard you got her pretty good,” Garry said.

“Yep sure did,” I said as I walked away. Garry just sat there watching me until I got to the doors and he ran over to me.

“What’s wrong with you? You’ve been all moody lately,” he asked.

“I don’t know.  Maybe the fact my boyfriend doesn’t want to spend time with me anymore, or maybe it’s because his been lying to me,” I replied.

“I haven’t been lying to you babe. I’ve told you everything,” he pleaded with me.

“How am I meant to believe you when you stay away from me every possible chance you get?  You’ve spent more time with Glen since Chloe was born then you did the whole year before hand. So why the hell are you hanging with him again?!”  I half yelled at him.

“He’s my friend Tina.  You hang with your friends don’t you?” He asked.

“Yes, but you used to hang out with Jayden and Kevin before and some of the other guys, but now it just seems to be Glen and his bunch of fuckwit friends!” I yelled.  I was fed up. I just wanted to walk away, but I didn’t get a chance.

Garry pinned me to the wall under the staircase and smashed his lips to mine. I couldn’t resist, I missed his kisses.  He bit my lip asking for entrance, so I gave in and let him take dominance. I couldn’t be bothered fighting for it.

The bell rang and it was time for our last two subjects before the end of the day. I had English and science, and Garry had double pdhpe.

I was glad the rest of the day went quickly, because before I knew it I was walking in the front door and I could hear my little girl babbling to herself in her rocker. Garry should be here soon.  He just had to go home and grab his work uniform for tomorrow afternoon so he didn’t have to leave tonight.

Finally he’s staying the night! YES, I cheered! He can do the early morning feed.

About thirty minutes later he walked in the front door. He must have ran because he looks all flushed and sweaty.

“Hey my beautiful girls,” he said walking in and picking up Chloe.

While Garry watched Chloe and mum made dinner, I thought it was a good opportunity to take a nice relaxing bath. I filled the bath and added some strawberry bubbles I hopped in and relaxed until the water turned cold.

“Dinners ready,” my mum yelled out.

“Be down in a minute,” I yelled back.

We all sat down and ate dinner, little Chloe was asleep up in her cot.

I started to fall asleep watching TV.

“Come on babe. Let’s go to bed,” Garry whispered in my ear.

“Okay,” I said while yawning.

Once in bed I fell straight to sleep, but I woke at about two a.m. and Garry wasn’t in bed. I got up and walked to the nursery and there he was feeding and talking to Chloe. They both looked settled, so I went and climbed back into bed and had very peaceful sleep.
