James and I met in the halls at my locker.
"Hey," he said.
"Hey, I missed you."
"Missed you, too. Ya butt feeling fine?"
"Yeah. Still a little sore. It's bearable."
"Okay. That's good." We started walking to our class and saw some bullies, who are a couple of our friends, around a kid. He tried fighting back but it was no use. Four of them against one of him. They were saying things like fag, and queer, and sissy. They were also calling him a nerd.
"Guys, come on," James said. Ryder turned around and said,
"Why James?"
"What'd he do to you?" None of them said a word.
"Exactly. Come on." They sighed and followed us to class. We all have the same class together. Including the kid they were messing with.
