Good Afternoon,

It's Maria. I just came back from school. Nothing interesting really happened in school so I won't talk about it. But after school, that's when something happened. I was just casually walking home as usual on my own when suddenly a guy from school on a bike threw an egg on my face. I was covered in egg. He laughed as he rode to the corner of the street. I got a tissue paper from my bag and wiped it off my face.

'Maria!' A familiar voice shouted.

It was Aiden. I stopped for a moment and waited for him to catch up.

'Are you, Ok?' He asked.

'A guy just threw an egg at me but other than I'm fine.' I smiled.

He started laughing.

'What?!' I asked.

'You look a mess.'

'Shut up! I'll throw a rock at you!' I threatened him.

'Ooohh A rock!!' He sarcastically said.

I got down on the floor and grabbed a big rock. I was about to throw it at him but he ran away. I threw the rock back at the ground and ran after him. When I caught up with him we both laughed. We slowly walked the rest.

'So, why are you walking with me today?' I asked.

 'Eh?'

'You never walk with me.'

It's true he never walks with me after school because he's scared about his popularity being affected. He doesn't like to admit it but I was pretty sure it was true.

'Maria, you make me sound like I hate you. You're my best friend.'

'Why are you walking with me?'

'Nothing. I just wanted to spend time with you. Eversince I've had a girlfriend I've never spent time with you.' He smiled.

I frowned at him. 'What do you want?!' I laughed.

'NOTHING! I kind of miss you for some reason.' He laughed.

'Yeah right!' I laughed.

'Come with me!' He said grabbing my hand.

We ran to a hill with a big oak tree. It was mine and Aiden's place when we were little. We used to go there all the time.

'Wow! I haven't seen this place in ages!' I laughed.

'Same.'

He sat down on the swing and swinged on it. I sat down on the grassy field and looked at the beautiful landscape.

'I can't believe it. We haven't done this in ages!' I smiled at him.

'Yeah. I know.' He nodded his head.

He sat down next to me on the grass. He laid down and stared at the sky. He looked at the birds flying over our heads.

'Look.' He pointed at the sky.

I looked up and laid down next to him. I stared at the sky. It was beautiful.
