The Secret

The Secret- Part 1

*22nd April 1997*

Our story begins in a place far, far away named, Dayton. There lived a king and a queen who conquered America. One day in April the queen was giving birth.

'Darling, Don't worry. I am here and I won't leave you!' The king told his wife.

The queen was rushed in to the birth room where she gave birth to a healthy young baby. This was the princess. In the room next to the queen, laid a young woman who too was giving birth. Right next to her was her husband who patiently soothed her. After a few minutes in pain the woman died and so did the baby. The young man was so disappointed he ran to the corridor and yelled,

'Nooo!! Don't leave me!' He fell to the floor and looked up at the ceiling.

He was in so much pain that he had just lost his wife AND his baby. As he wiped the tears of his face he noticed a young rich woman standing in front of him with a baby.

'Here. Take this baby.' She said passing the baby to him.

'What?!' He said with a confused face.

'LOOK AFTER HER, LIKE ITS YOUR OWN!' She yelled while running off.

The man ran after her but as he ran to the corner the woman had disappeared. He stared at the baby for a while. He looked closely at her and smiled.

'Maria... Maria Davis.' He whispered to the baby.
