"Did you guys not receive my text message? Both of you were missing for the entire lesson and Mr Ryu was so pissed." Hye Won glared at them.

Rye Il and Gary return to their seats without replying her. They both had their poker face expression on which make it impossible for the girls to read their expression.

"You guys still haven't patch up?" Jihyo asked. Again, there was no response from both of them. Hye Won furrowed her eyebrows and looked over to Jihyo who was equally puzzled.

Unable to withstand the silence, Hye Won went to Rye Il and lashed out, "seriously, are you going to continue kicking up a fuss over this?"

"You won't know how it feels." Rye Il said quietly.

"Rye Il oppa, I'm sorry for hurting you. Please don't blame Gary oppa. I don't wish to see the both of you falling-out because of me." Jihyo went up to him and said.

"That will only happen if he treats you badly," Rye Il replied. "Right, Gary?" He smirked and exchanged glances with Gary.

"That's what he said," Gary answered and they looked towards Jihyo and Hye Won. The girls were giving them a confused look.

"Did both of you just played a trick on us?" Hye Won frowned.

"His idea." Gary pointed at Rye Il and said.

"Yah! Oppa!" Jihyo shouted at them, relieved yet upset at the same time. She really thought that she had caused them to sever their five years of friendship.

"Sorry for making you worry. We just wanted to make things fun." Gary said to Jihyo.

"So is everything fine now?" Hye Won cut in, still frowning at both of them.

"Of course!" Rye Il shouted. Hye Won shook her head at him as she thought about how Rye Il was the one who started the argument and also, how he was the one who said everything was fine after that.

Jihyo suddenly tapped Hye Won on her shoulder and whispered, "Mr Ryu is here." Hye Won looked at her and then through the windows panes and saw Mr Ryu walking towards the classroom.

"There you are, Mr Kang and Mr Choi." Mr Ryu said the moment he entered the classroom. The girls didn't have the time to warn them about it.

"Oh shit." Rye Il and Gary muttered simultaneously. They got up from their seats and turned around to face Mr Ryu.

"Hey, Mr Ryu! Why are you here?" Rye Il pretended that he didn't know what was going on when in fact he knew that Gary and him were in deep trouble.

"Still joking around, Mr Choi?" His eyes shifted from Rye Il to Gary and back to Rye Il again. "Both of you, in my office. NOW!" Mr Ryu shouted.

The guys carried their bags and followed Mr Ryu to his office. Hye Won and Jihyo grabbed their belongings and quietly tagged along and waited outside the office.

The blinds in the office were drawn down hence they weren't able to see what was going on inside. They didn't hear any shouts coming from inside either. It was relatively quiet other than the occasional noise created by people walking past the corridor.

Jihyo was staring at her watch the whole time, watching the minute hand ticked by while the guys were inside the office. Close to twenty minutes later, they finally heard a 'click' sound and the door was pulled open from inside.

"So how did it go?" Hye Won noticed the look of dismay on both of their faces as they walked out from the office.

"We.." Gary paused and shook his head, "let's just go to the ice-cream place." He sighed and walked off together with Rye Il.

"Oppa, stop sighing and tell us what happened!" Jihyo said to Gary in an annoyed tone. Rye Il and him wouldn't stop sighing after they entered the cafe and it was getting on her nerves.

Gary shook his head and finally said, "It was bad."

"Yah! Can't you guys get straight to the point?" Hye Won

"He said he will give us another chance and let us off if we managed to score an 'A' for the upcoming exam. " Rye Il let out a moan and buried his face in his folded arms on the table.

"That's it?" Jihyo's eyes shifted from Rye Il to Gary. His face was filled with a look of defeat.

"What do you mean by 'that's it'?" Rye Il jolted up and questioned.

"It's not that difficult," Jihyo replied.

"It's easy for you to say since you're smart." Gary sighed and said.

"I guess we don't have a choice then," Hye Won cut in and looked at Rye Il and Gary. "We know you guys are bad at studying so we are willing to sacrifice our precious time to help you, right Jihyo?" Jihyo nodded.

No one said a word. Gary rolled his eyes at her while Rye Il gave her a deadpan expression. They were not amused by how she just insulted them.

"What? I'm just stating the fact." She said when she noticed their expression.

Gary scratched the back of his head and let out a deep sigh. "Guess we have to accept that offer."

Jihyo offered to plan the study schedule and the guys silently nodded their head.

After spending two hours at the ice-cream shop, they finally decided to leave. They bid goodbyes and went separate ways. Gary and Jihyo finally had some private time to be together.

"When are you going to eat the lunch?" Gary suddenly asked as they were walking hand in hand to Jihyo's house.

"Ah.. I forgot about it." She stopped walking and looked at him. Since the lunchbox was kept inside Jihyo's bag and out of her sight, it totally slipped her mind until he asked about it.

Looking around her surrounding, she suddenly pulled him to a nearby bench and settled her bag down on the bench and lifted the paper bag out from her bag. "Let's eat it here, shall we?" She said while swinging the bag in front of his face.

He broke into a smile at how silly and cute she was. They sat down on the bench with the lunchbox placed in between them. Gary removed the cover and Jihyo's eyes lit up when she saw what he had prepared. There three compartments within the box. The small compartment at the corner was filled with kimchi and in the compartment below it were some fresh strawberries.

The third compartment, which was also the biggest, had pieces of kimbap neatly placed together and a rolled up omelet beside it.

"Gomawo, oppa." Jihyo said. She inched closer towards him and kissed him on his cheek. Feeling sightly embarrassed, she quickly turned back to the food and took a piece of kimbap and ate it.

"You love giving me surprises, don't you?" Gary chuckled, still feeling the warm, fuzzy feeling in his heart over the sudden peck on his cheek.

Jihyo stuck the fruit pick into a strawberry and brought it to Gary's mouth. "You're talking too much." She said jokingly and then stuff the strawberry into his mouth.
