"Jihyo-yah, are you making breakfast?" Hye Won tied her hair into a loose bun as she made her way down. She stopped right outside the kitchen and her eyebrows instantly drew together.

"Oppa?" She blurted out.

"Are you fine with having sandwiches?" He turned around holding two plates, each with a grilled cheese sandwich on it.

Hye Won grabbed the plate from him and sat down at the table.

"Gary wasn't in his room. They must have gone out together last night." Rye Il said and took a bite out of his sandwich.

"I thought she woke up early to prepare breakfast but turned out, it was you instead." Hye Won replied.

Rye Il put down his sandwich and gave her a pointed look. Hye Won was about to bite into the sandwich when he grabbed the other end of the sandwich and said, "you can give it back if you don't want to eat."

She took a big bite of the sandwich while staring at him. How petty, she thought. He let go of her sandwich and picked up his own before taking another bite.

"It taste pretty good. But the kitchen.. " She leaned her body towards a side and craned her neck. There was a cheese wrapper on the counter and another one on the floor. Egg shells were lying on the counter with the egg whites dripping down the edge.

" A little messy? I know." He continued her sentence and let out a satisfying burp.

She frowned at him in disgust. "It's not a little. It totally looks like a war zone." She grabbed the empty plates and walks towards the sink.

"You're exaggerating," he followed behind her and tried to reason with her that it wasn't as bad as she thought.

"Thank God this isn't my house." She said curtly. She took a wide stride and successfully managed to avoid stepping on the breadcrumbs littered on the floor but failed to notice the patch of oil on the floor. She stepped on the slippery substance and slipped. The white ceramic plates that she was holding came crashing down onto the floor. Rye Il who was behind her managed to catch her in time.

At that moment, the front door swung opened. Gary was telling her a joke when suddenly he noticed that she wasn't laughing but just staring ahead. He looked to where she was looking at and couldn't quite believe his eyes. They both stood at the doorway, awkwardly staring at the sight in front of them.

"Maybe we shouldn't have been back so early." Gary remarked.

"Take your hands away. " Hye Won mumbled to Rye Il. He didn't realised that his arms were tightly wrapped around her waist. He quickly let go of his grip. Hye Won held onto the counter edge for support.

"It's not what you guys are thinking. She slipped and almost fell but I was behind her so I caught hold of her and just nice, you guys came in and.. and.. " Rye Il tried to explain but the more he did, the more nervous he felt and eventually, he was loss for words.

Gary and Jihyo exchanged looks with each other.

"You guys don't believe it right?" Rye Il continued after seeing the skeptic and amused look on their faces.

"Yah! Stop talking and clean up the place! Hye Won snapped and let out a frustrated huff. She stepped around the scattered pieces of ceramic  and went up to the second floor.

Gary and Jihyo watched as Hye Won stormed up the stairs in a huff. They went up to Rye Il who was busy  sweeping up the broken plates. He held his hand out to them and waved them away. "I'm not going to explain further." He said before they had even ask him anything.

"I'll go and check on unnie." Jihyo told Gary before making her way up to Hye Won's room.

Hye Won was sitting on the bed, staring as the door opened. "Unnie," Jihyo said softly and closed the door behind her.

"Are you here to ask what happened?" She asked in a dreaded tone. Jihyo responded with a nod and sat down beside her.

Hye Won let out a loud sigh.

"He made some grilled cheese sandwiches for breakfast and the kitchen was in a total mess. You've seen it for yourself. It was like a total war zone but he said I was exaggerating," she paused and rolled her eyes, "then I wanted to put the plates into the sink but before I could even do so, I slipped on the oil-stained floor and what happened next were what you saw." She let out a exasperated huff.

"Just because of that and you're angry?" Jihyo stared at her with amused disbelief.

Seconds of silence later, Hye Won looked up from her bedsheet and faced Jihyo. "Right.. Why am I getting angry about this?" She questioned out loud.

Jihyo shrugged her shoulders. A smile crept up her face. "Rye Il oppa isn't the bad. You should consider."

"Consider what?" Hye Won asked.

Jihyo kept quiet but the smile was still visible on her face. And Hye Won seemed to have understood the meaning behind her words.

"Definitely no!" She reacted strongly. "Why will I consider that annoying guy? You can have him if Gary oppa allows."

"Having Gary oppa is enough for me. I'm contented." Jihyo answered.

Hye Won rubbed her arms feeling goosebumps all over her body.

"Speaking of Gary, where did the both of you went to?"

"We went to see shooting stars."

"And then?"

"then.. We kissed." Jihyo averted her gaze as she said it.

"Heol, " Hye Won stared at her, "am I going to hear wedding bells soon?" she teased.

She looked at her, stunned. "I'm going down to get some water." She said and got down the bed and hurried out of the room.

"Seriously, it was nothing." Jihyo could hear Rye Il's voice as she walked down the stairs.

"Then why were you being so nervous? I haven't seen that side of you in a while." She heard Gary replying him.

She went into the kitchen and it didn't look as messy as it was a few minutes ago. Jihyo pulled out the chair and sat down beside Gary.

"How's Hye Won?" asked Gary.

"She's fine. Just a little upset." Jihyo replied.

"Upset even though I saved her? Talk about being kind." Rye Il drove his fingers through his hair and leaned back against the chair. "I'm not going to help her if she needs my help." he purposely raised his voice so that his voice would reach the second floor.

Within seconds, Hye Won shouted down from above, "I won't look for you for help!"

Rye Il scowled and grunted. Gary and Jihyo looked at him, trying to stifle their laugh which made Rye Il felt even more annoyed.

"Make sure you remember what you said!" He shouted at the top of his lungs and afterwards, they all heard a loud door slam from upstairs.
