A few months later I move in with Joe. We found out at the doctor I'm further along than we thought. So I'm 6 months pregnant now and I am showing.
Joe: Baby you're so cute. I can't wait until the baby is born.
He kisses my stomach. Joey and I haven't told anyone we've been dating yet. Only my parents, sister, Donnie, Joey's friends Danny and Jon. Yes Jon is Jordan's brother but we're close so he won't tell him.
Me: The baby is hurting my back today. She's kicking the crap out of my ribs.
Joe: She's just like you when she's hungry.
He laughs and I smack his stomach.
Me: What can I say? Like mother like daughter. But should I at least tell Jordan his baby is a girl? I mean she is his daughter.
Joe: That's up to you baby.
Me: I'm going to give him a call.
I dreadfully pick up my phone and dial his number. It rings and he picks up. He sounds heartbroken and depressed.
Jordan: Hey...
Me: I just wanted to tell you the baby is a girl.
Jordan: I've always wanted a babygirl. What are we going to name her?
Me: I'M naming her Madelyn Penelope.
Jordan: I love it.. but..
Me: But what?
Jordan: I'm so lost without you. I'm not going to lie.. I've drank until I passed out. I can't get over you.
Me: Jordan as much as I hate to tell you this.. I'm with Joey now.
Jordan: w..what?
His voice cracks.
Jordan: but.. I want you to be mine again. I know I'm a fuck up. Halee I need you. I want to make you Mrs. Knight. I shouldn't of even associated with the bitch. I haven't been out of the house in months. Just think about it okay.. and if not I'll leave you alone. I hate hearing about you moving on.
Me: Bye Jordan.
Jordan: Baby wait.
I hang up.
Joe: I heard.
Me:... yeah
Joe: What's wrong?
Me: He sounded so... Depressed. He sounded like he's been crying
Joe: you care why?
His voice sounds cold and harsh.
Me: What? Baby I wasn't saying that.
Joe: I know baby. He just makes me angry. But you're MY girl.
Me: Yes.
I smile.
Me: I'm gonna go take a shower.
Joe: Can I come too?
He winks.
Me: Sure.
He picks me up gently and carries me to the bathroom. He takes both of our clothes off and starts kissing my neck.
Me: J-joey.
Joe: Shhhh.
He puts his fingers on my lips. We have an intense makeout session and you can use your imagination on what happened in the shower.
Joe: That was..great.
He says while brushing his hair. He's wearing Nike sweatpants, a white hoodie, and Nike socks.
Me: I know.
I wink. I'm wearing black leggings, a dark gray v-neck that shows off my bump, and Nike socks.
Joe: We need to go to the grocery store.
Me: Okay. But I'm feeling nauseous.
Joe: It'll be fast.
Me: Fine.
Joey and I enter Walmart.
Joe: I'll be back. I'm going to go get a cart. You can go look at stuff.
Me: Okay.
I walk over to the baby aisle. I feel someone's hand on my shoulder and I turn around.
Me: Jordan?
Jordan: Hey.. you look amazing.
Me: Thanks.
Jordan: Can we talk?
Me: There's nothing to talk about dude. You broke my heart. I moved on. Case closed.
Jordan: But I'm so in love with you. I need you. Please just one more chance.
He starts crying and begging.
Me: Seriously Jordan. If Joey sees you he's going to be pissed.
Joe: Ohhhhh too late for that.
I turn around to see an angry Joey.
Jordan: I'm the one that should be pissed. You took my girl!
Joe: YOU BROKE HER HEART. AND I TOOK YOUR GIRL?! I can't help she prefers a man over a boy.
That's when Jordan shoves Joey up against the shelf.
Jordan: Listen here McIntyre I'll beat the shit out of you right here. I have always and will always love her. I'll try every way to get her back.
Me: STOP.
They don't listen because before I know it Joey starts swinging and they fight. A Walmart employee has to break them up. He seperates them.
Joe: Next time I get ahold of you I'm gonna make sure you can never have kids again!
Jordan: Oh yeah?! I will get Halee back watch me. I'll try step by step to get her back!
He walks out of the store. I notice Joey's lip bleeding.
Me: You're bleeding..
Joe: I'm fine. I just wish he would realize you're mine and that he hurt you.
Me: I love you Joseph.
Joe: I love you too.
He hugs me.
