It was a long time ago, actually. The days when he remembered the happiness he once held, when he didn't care if he had a neighbor he could come to for assistance. The days when his parents were merely happy to be with each other. The days when he recalled himself smiling alongside Saeran.
And ever since his father left for the presidential election, even as he had a large disadvantage...
Saeyoung had not smiled since. Or so he had thought.
In the Present Day time, it had been an assumption, to quite the great extent, that his life had been all depressing and sad. He says he never had friends, excluding the exception of (Name), and he says that all he ever needed were beneficial influences that can affect his hacking knowledge in a positive note. He thinks, that after all of this, nothing will make sense without his brother.
"The only inspiration I need," he states; "When that inspiration dies out, I'll leave on a hesitant note. That's what they call, 'Hacker's Block'. Tell that to the others, will you?"
Even now, his serious personality has yet to cease. Nothing has seriously affected him, aside of the fact that he has a big role in the RFA now, and that he has Yoosung to tease and cats to "abuse", so life hadn't been so interesting after these years of being cooped up in a room full of darkness and boredom.
Then, MC came along. She caught his eyes, that's for sure.
What intruiged him was her optimistic personality. It definitely reminded him of someone. Maybe Saeran, when they were very little. But that was too long ago. That trait had disappeared too soon. Maybe Rika, who had died just recently. Sure, he had been shocked and hurt when he heard about the suicide, but it didn't hurt him as bad as Yoosung. You see, him and Rika were cousins. Technically. Maybe. Both? It's not so complicated to tell the tale, of their backstory and such, but who bothers to hear it?
That aside, the whole MC incident that happen just yesterday was very sudden. It was if fate intertwined her to the rest of the RFA members. Her kindness, her enchanting voice...she was perfect.
Saeyoung had kept careful watch over her through the surveillance cameras. The system was definitely tight enough for invaders to keep away, so he saw no problem to look away from time to time. Only he and Jihyun personally knew what she looked like. And she looked stunning when he first laid his eyes on her.
That's what all men should say to every woman in the world, regardless their body type or features.
It had grown to him that his memories were fading away. He didn't remember his friends names, but he tried to picture their faces. He couldn't remember what Saeran last wore before he left him. He couldn't even remember what last words his trustworthy friend, (Name), made before he left her. The only other person who knew of his past was Rika. At least you can still entrust secrets to the dead, right?
All the more, MC was a nostaglic person. She held this firm, adamantine nature, as if trying to persuade her peers to remember something. Anything. At first, Saeyoung was suspicious to what she was trying to do, but later shrugged it off, knowing that it may as well just be his assumptions. All she ever made him think of was his past even more and more, but obviously he didn't show his dread in the chat.
Soon enough, MC privately contacting Saeyoung.
MC: hi :)
707: Heyo, lolol. What's up?
MC: I was wondering if I could go back to my apartment. It seems more safer there to me because there are countless of witnesses over there if I happen to stumble into a kidnapping and...
MC: I have a friend who lives there. She must be worried sick right now, and she doesn't have the money to pay our monthly rent.
MC: Sorry if I'm asking too much, but please? With a cherry on top?...gah, this is so embarrassing;;;
By then, it was the harsh choice of doing the right thing and doing the wrong. First he'll have to contact Jihyun and discuss the matters with large amounts of persuasion. It may take weeks because he's busy nowadays, but it's still necessary.
He glanced at the cameras one more time before settling down with his final response.
707: sure. :D
707: However, I'll have to install some things into your apartment because you're still on heavy watch. Also, it might take a few weeks to let you go, so you'll still have to stay put in the meanwhile.
MC: Oh, okay. I understand.
707: So...did you eat?
MC: ...Please don't ask me that. ;-;
707: But I'm curious! >-< Either way, that stung me like a countless number of bees
707: swarming.
707: angry, even;;;
707: I'm wounded!
707: Literally. ._.
MC: I ate. But seriously, why do you guys ask me that all the time? ;-; I'm not trying to sound ungrateful or uncaring or anything, but why not "How Was Your Day?" or "What Did You Do Today?"
MC: ....Well.
MC: Tune in next time for another episode of...!
MC: DUN DUN DUNNNN~! The Amazing Panorama of MC! :D toot toot toot toooot.
707: lolol. Weird, but in a good way.
707: I guess I'll get started on my side task. Bye, MC! :33
MC: See mew later~!
By then Saeyoung left the conversation. Thoughts and problems eased to swirl around his mind, threatening to make him do many things. Should be rebel or oblige his convincing antics?
"Might as well multitask until I fall asleep again."
