"Drop the bow," I told the girl.

She obeyed and laid down the bow and arrows. Ben patted her down and took a machete, 2 knives, and a pistol. We also took her walkie talkie.

It came on when we about to set it down, "Ash, you good?"

"Tell them you're fine," I told her.

Vincent put the walkie talkie to her mouth, "I'm good, Uriah."

I looked her over. She was about my age. No, I couldn't think about that right now. At this moment she is an enemy.

"How many of you are there?" I asked.

"There are three armored vehicles that could drive through the front of this house," she replied.

"Who are you?" Vincent asked.

She replied, "I am Elena Ash of the ETRG or East Tennessee Refuge Group. I'm in charge of the militia."

Wow cute and in charge. Wait, still an enemy.

"Who are you?" she asked.

I replied, "I'm Carter Edwards. This is Vincent Faller. And, they are Benjamin and Christy. We are from the CRFG or Columbus and Red Fox Group in Georgia."

"What are you doing out here then?" she asked.

"We are on a long run," Benjamin said.

I shook her hand. We gave her stuff back.

"Come out. It will be fine," she said.

We opened the door and followed her out. We were surprised when our car had been looted and they had run one of the armored cars into our car. She ran over to the group. We couldn't do anything with 30 rifles pointing at us. She reached in their car and pulled out duct tape and a grenade. She taped the grenade to an arrow knocked on the bow. The group got in the cars. She climbed on the top. They started driving away. She pulled the pin, shot it, and it ended up directly through the big window in the front of the house.

"Run," I shouted.

It blew. The last thing I saw was the smug grin on Elena Ash's face as I blacked out.
