I heard the first gunshot. Then, I heard the second. Knife raised I ran out of the bathroom to see my father get shot. With rage, anger, and adrenaline built inside of my, I took the perfect aim and threw my knife into the center of Jacob Edenfield's chest. He pulled out the knife and fell over dead. My father was dead. The man I'd found a alive after years of thinking he was dead. He was actually dead. I fell on my knees. I was the only member of my family left. Unless my older brother Trenton was alive. We started our decent into Columbus.
