Chapter 6: Asheville (Joel Hixon)
We landed in Asheville, North Carolina when the sun came up. Taylor got there a hour later. She was driven to the Hixon Memorial Hospital. As soon as we landed my men checked up on Fort Trent. When they came into my room I knew it was gone. My men were gone. My farthest northern grip, gone. I was tired but no time to waste. I called in my generals and commanders and we plannned. Little did we know, that plan would never go into action.
