Chapter 20: TMS- The Mix Squad (Carter Edwards) (Jacob Edenfield)
One of the guys from the barrier said, "This is our head of operations General Andrew Hans."
"That is not General Andrew Hans. It is General Andrew Hans Edwards, my father," I said.
"Carter," he said shocked.
He walked me to the back of the plane. "Where is your mother?" he asked.
I replied, "Dead."
He looked down and shook his head.
"Why did you never come back?" I asked.
"Atlanta went into lockdown. All flights were grounded and canceled," he said.
"It's nice to see you again," I said.
He replied, "You too."
Somebody shouted from the front," Sir, we are taxing to the runway."
We left Vincent. The seatbelt sign turned on. We all sat down and buckled our seat belts. The engines ramped up. The plane took off. I hated planes. We were above the clouds when the seat belt sign turned off. I unbuckled and went to the bathroom.
Carter had got up and gone to the bathroom. It was time. I pulled my pistol out of my waistband. In one swift motion I cocked and shot.
