Chapter 35: TMF- The Mixed Fox (Carter Edwards)
The battle was over. Trenton was the only one left.
He walked to me and said, "Brother I'm sorry. I love-"
The machete went through his chest. As he fell to the ground, I saw Elena.
We walked down to Trenton and I's favorite spot by the river and spread his ashes into the river. The water always kept him calm. I was upset, but I forgave Elena. I knew she did what she thought was right. I turned to her, and she pulled me into a kiss. Even when I was sad, she brought a warmth into my heart. I loved her.
(About a year later.)
The bells of Town Hall rang as the Mayor and Mayor's newly wed wife stepped out of the chapel. The city was repaired and prospering greatly. The sky was blue as we walked to the river on the happiest day of Elena and I's life.
