Misunderstanding~Chanyeol Fluff/Slight Angst-Requested

Being with Chanyeol was like being stuck on an endless roller coaster. Sometimes there were high points where you felt like nothing could break your relationship, but there were also low points where you felt like Chanyeol wanted nothing to do with you. There were a bunch of ups and downs in your relationship, just like there is in a roller coaster.

Currently you felt like nothing could tear you guys apart. Chanyeol was home more often. He was giving you attention, and making you feel loved. You wouldn't want to change this for the world. You loved these times. When no one could interfere with your relationship, and you guys were doing everything a normal couple does.

The thing was though, that you two were anything but a normal couple. Both of you were idols. So it made it hard to date. Chanyeol was in a famous idol boy group called Exo, while you just debuted with your group a year ago. Both of you decided it would be a good job to keep your relationship a secret for now. You especially, you knew how bad some of Chanyeol's fans could get. You didn't blame them though, you knew how it was to idolize someone you love. You were just scared of what they were capable of, so you wanted to keep your relationship with him a secret.

For the most part it was good, but when you're on a roller coaster there's always drops. You were on your way to the practice room, you were having a hard time learning the choreo for your group's next comeback. So you decided you would spend a couple more hours in the practice room practicing the dance until you memorized all the moves. As you were walking down the hall to the room, you heard voices. Not thinking much of it you continued on your way. As you got closer to the door the louder the voices got. Then someone laughed. You could recognize that laugh anywhere, you've heard it a million times. It was Chanyeol's. Confused you slowly walked to the end of the hallway. You quietly looked around the corner and frowned at what you saw.

There standing with two girls was Sehun and Chanyeol. You continued to watch them, just to get your mind at ease. It's not like he would do anything with them...right? You shook your head at the thought, and focused back onto the group. Sehun was clearly flirting with one of the girls, she seemed to enjoy it. Your eyes slowly focused on Chanyeol and the other girl. They didn't seem to be flirting really, more just talking. You sighed in relief. That is until you heard what Chanyeol said. "Yeah, I don't really know if I want to keep her around anymore." You froze. First of all, why was he telling this girl about your relationship that hardly anyone knew about. Were they close? Second of all, he doesn't want to be with you anymore?

You started to hyperventilate. You couldn't breathe. You clutched at your chest trying to calm down. Luckily one of your members came out of the practice room and saw you. "Y/N! Oh my god. Are you okay? Can you hear me? Just breath okay, just breathe." She said as she grabbed your shoulders forcing you to look at her.

Chanyeol furrowed his eyebrows when he heard commotion coming from the hallway around the corner. He started to walk towards it, that's when he heard your name. "Please! Someone help. Y/N's having trouble breathing." He recognized the voice, it was the youngest in your group. He quickly rushed over. He looked at you in shock. You were kneeling on the ground, breathing heavily while clutching at your chest. He quickly kneeled on the ground in front of you, gently grabbing your face. "Y/N look at me. Its Chanyeol okay? I'm right here. Look at me." He said in a soft voice. Your eyes found his. "Good. Okay good. Now I want you to focus on my breathing okay, and try to follow it." He explained as he took a deep breath in and let it out. He repeated it a couple times before you finally started to calm down.

Chanyeol sighed in relief, and hugged you tightly to his chest. "You scared me." He mumbled into your hair. You melted into his arms. "I'm sorry." You mumbled back. Then you realized you had a crowd around you two. You quickly pulled away. "I-I..Thank you Oppa." You got up and bowed to him. You didn't know how to react to all of this. There were people staring at you with confusion, and interest. You blushed. "Sorry for causing a scene." You apologized as you bowed to everyone. All of a sudden a pair of arms were around your neck. "Unnie! I'm so glad you're okay." The youngest in your group said as she hugged you tight. You smiled and hugged her back. "Thank you, I'm okay now though." You reassured her.

You bowed to everyone once again before you quickly left. You stopped at your locker quickly to grab your things. As you were grabbing your bag out of your locker someone appeared beside you, causing you to jump. It was Chanyeol. "What happened?" He asked you. You bit your lip, you weren't sure if you wanted to tell him the truth or not. You sighed. "I overheard you and one of the girls you were with talking. You said you weren't sure if you wanted to be with me anymore. Once I heard that all these thoughts came into my mind, and I started to hyperventilate." You mumbled as you closed your locker.

Chanyeol frowned. "Babe, if you listened to the whole conversation you would've known I was talking about my kitten. I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep her or not anymore. I hardly have enough time to sleep, how am I going to table care of a kitten?" He said. Your eyes widened. "Y-You mean, you weren't talking about me?" Chanyeol chuckled and pulled you into a hug. "No of course not. I love you y/n. You're stuck with me for forever." He mumbled as he hugged you tighter. You smiled and hugged him back. "Wait. Then I caused a huge scene for nothing?" You asked.

Chanyeol laughed. "Seems like it."
