Things Change~Wonho~Part Three

You groaned as light hit your eyes. As you became aware of your surroundings you could hear an annoying beeping sound.

"Turn it off." You grumbled out. You heard a soft gasp come from beside you.

"Y/N! You're awake!" The voice exclaimed. Hoseok. It was Hoseok.

You slowly opened your eyes letting them adjust to the sunlight.

You looked around at your surroundings. You noticed that you were in a hospital bed. You looked over at Wonho. "Why am I here?" You asked him softly.

Hoseok furrowed his brows. "You don't remember?" He asked you softly.

You slowly shook your head no. Hoseok took a deep breath and gently grabbed your hand.

"W-I.." He started. Hoseok bit his lip in thought. After a couple seconds of silence he finally spoke up again.

"Do you remeber anything before right now?" He asked.

You looked at him for a minute and tried to think.

All of a sudden you thought back to you walking away from Hoseok and getting into your car.

You gently pulled your hand away from him. "Yeah. I confessed to you. You didn't say anything so I left." You said softly.

You looked down and scanned your body. You had cuts and bruises all over. You noticed that your wrist was in a cast as well.

Hoseok frowned at your comment. "Y/N I-...." he thought for a second. "You were in a car accident. There was an intoxicated driver on your side of the road. You swerved so you wouldn't get hit, but he swerved to causing both your cars to collide and you to go into a ditch. I-I was on the phone when it happened." He told you as he choked up. "God Y/N I thought I lost you. I was so worried."

Your eyes widened. You scanned your body once again. As you looked over your body and took it what Hoseok told you. It all came back.

All the memories of that day came back to you. You confessing. Hoseok staying silent. You leaving and him calling. You seeing the headlights on your side of the road. Hearing the glass in your car shatter.

Everything. You remembered everything.

"O-Oh my god." You whispered out.

Hoseok teared up. "T-The doctors told us that you might never wake up. I was so scared that I'd never be able to speak to you again. I didn't want to lose you." He told you.

You turned your head and looked at him. "Never wake up?" You questioned.

Hoseok nodded. "You were in a coma y/n. It's been two an a half months since the accident." He said gently.

Your eyes widened in surprise. "Two months? I've been in here for two months?" You asked incredulously.

You couldn't believe that it had been two months. You couldn't have been in the hospital for that long, right?

You wrapped your arms around yourself careful to not hit your cast on anything.

Hoseok gently grabbed your hand. "I'm so glad you woke up. I couldn't imagine my life without you in it." He whispered softly.

You gently smiled at him before taking your hand away.

"I remember you rejecting me too Hoseok. I remember everything from that day. So please, I understand that your relieved that I'm okay but I still have feelings for you. And you doing all these things isn't helping how I feel about you." You told him softly. "Plus you're with my sister of all people." You let out a small laugh.

Hoseok rubbed the back of his neck nervously. "Yeah about that, a lot happened in the two months you were here." He laughed nervously. "I'm not with your sister anymore. We both agreed that it wouldn't work out." He said.

Your eyes widened. "Besides when I heard everything on the other end of the line, and thinking that you were gone. I came to a lot of realizations." He told you as he looked into your eyes.

"I realised that I love you y/n. When I thought I lost you I was hysterical. When you were in here I was here everyday because I wanted to be here when you woke up. I couldn't eat anything for days. I prayed that you would be okay because I couldn't lose you."

You gasped softly. "Y-You love me?" You asked him softly. "I-wow. I didn't think it would ever happen." You said softly.

Hoseok gently took your hand again. "I-I'm so so so happy and relieved that you're okay. These past two months have been hell."

You squeezed his hand softly. "T-Thank you for staying with me, and not giving up on me." You smiled.

Hoseok slowly stood up. He smiled and leaned in. "I-Would it be okay if I kissed you?" He asked nervously.

You giggled. "Of course." You were internally screaming as he started to lean forward. It all felt like some sort of amazing dream to you.

You smiled as you felt Hoseok's lips gently touch yours.

You lifted your hand and cupped the back of his neck.

You felt Hoseok smile into the kiss as well.

The kiss lasted about a minute before he pulled away.

You slowly opened your eyes and smiled widely. "I-Wow" you whispered out.

Hoseok chuckled and gave you his award winning smile he always gives. "I love you y/n." He whispered out as he caressed your cheek.

You closed your eyes and smiled "I love you to so much." You breathed out.

You gently leaned forward and kissed his nose. You giggled as you opened your eyes once again.

"I feel like I'm going to wake up from this dream. This has to be a dream." You laughed.

Hoseok smiled. "Nope. This is real. I'm here, I'm real." He whispered out.

Your smile widened. "I guess things have changed between us." You whispered out.

Hoseok chuckled. "Yeah things changed for the better." He told you ask he gently wrapped his arms around you.
